JPII Colombian Breeze

This place is incredible. We went here today because she was missing her Colombian food. They even had all the fresh squeezed juices from Colombia (mora, lulo, mango, etc). She was over the moon to eat her country's food. The food did not disappoint! I thought it was very good myself, but I asked her how authentic it was and she said it was spot on. The food is authentic. The service is good. The prices are steep, but there really aren't many Colombian restaurants around so that's fair. I would normally give it a 4 star raiting, but they can be lazy in some regards. My favorite Colombian food is a nice arepa de chócolo with quesito. They have one on the menu, but they heat it in the microwave so you end up with corn meal mush that can't be picked up. Arepas are to be eaten with your hands, not a fork. The food has an authentic Colombian flavor. The service and ambiance are ok and it's a bit pricey but that flavor makes up for it. I love this place and we've eaten here many times.
