Kara Hibachi & Sushi

I really love their poke bowls - tuna one is absolutely the best. The sushi is really good too. It’s very reasonably priced and fast (we get to go).

Recently I visited this restaurant without any expections . But it’s was really good food , Osaka roll , milk tea series are my favourite. Chicken hibachi here are highly recommended.

The guy who runs it, doesn’t care about customers or going quickly, online orders take a minimum of 30 minutes, in person orders probably take even longer. My food was ready for a few minutes, he still took his time even though I’ve been standing there for almost 10 minutes. When you walk in, no one acknowledges you for at least 2 to 3 minutes. You have to stand at the cash register and make a bunch of noise.

Meal for three cost $74 (tip included), and the food definitely does not worth the money. Actually I wouldn’t eat there if it cost half as much. Taste pretty horrible. The bubble tea was good though.

The salmon in the roll neither seem nor taste right to me. It missed the tender texture. I asked the person who made it whether the salmon was raw because it tasted like half cooked. He told me because it was frozen before making into sushi. Okay, he successfully made me feel ignorant and regret visiting and paying for their frozen salmon roll ?

Buyer BEWARE!!! Ordered with Grubhub, I didn’t receive all my food so, I called the restaurant they told me he packed the order and he put everything in there. He then tried to say I was lying or the driver took the food which the bag was stapled. He didn’t even offer a reasonable solution other than calling grubhub.

Good food

My children and I got severe food poisoning here 3/11/23. Ordered chicken hibachi with fried rice and chicken yakisoba. Almost 11 hours of throwing up and diarrhea!

Generally a nice restaurant, good sushi lunch deal. I normally get X2 Salmon Avocado rolls and a miso soup and am always satisfied for the price. I came in today for a pickup order, there were high school kids everywhere, and the staff were unable to locate my food. Someone from the back came, examined my mobile receipt, and went to a table full of high school girls who were eating and retrieved my order. I asked him to make me a new order, and he said it would be another 20 min. I drove home and came back, had to wait a few more minutes for my food, and was surprised they didn't apologize for the inconvenience or give me an app or something to make up for the error. This was my first time getting the poke, and I was disappointed to see lots of lettuce in my bowl, and very little salmon. I've never seen lettuce in a poke before, and this was not just a garnish, it was a mix between a salad and a poke. I filled the entire container from the dumplings with this lettuce... I am normally really full and cannot finish my 2 roll and a soup lunch, but this was double the price and left me hungry and disappointed. Will not return here during high school lunch time, and will not order the poke. I hope this business starts adding ingredients to their menu so we know what we are ordering and are not surprised by non traditional items such as lettuce in a poke.

The pics were definitely misleading. We wanted to dine in but this is a carryout situation only. There are tables to eat there but only after you buy your food togo.That said, the guys working there were very nice and the sushi was very fresh and tasty. I would def eat there again when I want to get carryout.

I often get bubble tea there, and enjoy all the varieties I've tried. The staff is kind, and definitely show they care about their customers.My recommendation for a tea drink would be their fruit tea, it looks beautiful and tastes just as good:)

I will never return to this place. The ambience definitely pertains to ghetto high school kids using foul language. The employees did not wear gloves while preparing food. Except the sushi maker! The place itself was so dirty and not welcoming! The online menu is very misleading food presentation looks nothing like that ! Please steer clear! I threw away my entire Thai tea, took a sip, was the worst tea I’ve ever had ! Contemplated going back in to request a refund, but honestly did not want to be around that place any longer!

I’ve only been there once but OMF IS IT GOOD! The shrimp tempura is so good and the people are so nice

I do not recommend this place, have a specific order of Teriyaki chicken and friend rice. No veggies, I get veggies and they say that is how it comes. Can’t be anymore specific than no veggies. Please avoid this place
