Quiet on a weeknight, Kaveri served up standards as well as interesting takes. The chili bajji and samosa hit the spot on spicy and mild. The madurai malli dosai was an innovative blend of cilantro chutney spread with a sweet sugar counterpoint. The chutneys were a high point, as was the attentive service.
