We went to Joe's after we took a break from it due to past disappointments. Big mistake. We ordered the crab cake platter because we wanted crab cakes. What a trainwreck. I ask the server if they can make a crab cake sandwich? She checked with the kitchen and said they can give us a bun along with the platter! What?? Ok, we ordered the platter. Those were not MD crab cakes or Maryland style as the description says on the menu. Downright awful, probably asian crab, lots of fillers and just terrible tasting. and $30 is outrages. I don't think we will give it another try.

We were sit with the request of our reservation. However, our waitress was very overwhelmed and took a long time to serve. It was very crowded outside. I was disappointed that the side salad didn't come out prior to the meal. Food was delicious.

Threw a retirement party for a dear friend here in June. The managers Henry and Al were very helpful and made sure the event ran smoothly. They were terrific, helping me plan the event by email. We rented out the entire outdoor patio and had delicious appetizers and sangria to celebrate. I would highly recommend NYAJ for dinner or to throw a great outdoor party.

Pretty good neighborhood restaurant in Kentlands, gaithersburg. The place is huge and also has a bar inside. They have a wide variety of dishes available, including burgers, pizzas, pastas, and bar foods. I ordered chicken parmesan, sirloin tips, and burger. I would say those dishes aren’t special, but pretty good for the price. Jambalaya wasn’t really good though. I really enjoyed their complementary focaccia bread! It was really good and I ended up asking for more. They also have an extensive drink menu and appetizers. I would highly recommend this place for a big group.

On a Friday night, we enjoyed a wonderful meal. Not overly busy. Not now. For distance, every other table was left empty. Both the BBQ meatloaf and red sangria were amazing!

Ordered the jambalaya, wasn't as tasty as it was pre Covid days. It was my first time going there in over two years. The burger was very delicious and so was the mustard crusted chicken. The service was great.

Subpar American food. Overpriced for what it is. Bland is the best description. We've tried it 3 separate times and ordered different items each time to at least try a variety. Disappointing.

Great options for standard American fare. Nice outdoor options though not the most scenic.

The appetizers came out with the meal - some of the hot food was cold - there was a pungent seafood smell - I have been to seafood restaurants many times and have not had such a visceral reaction to the smell ever before. The waitress was very good and really tried but the overall experience will not have me or my friends back to the restaurant.

Service was solid, restaurant was fairly empty on Monday night.

Our dinners came out exactly as ordered. I had a deconstructed pulled pork sandwich as I didn't want the roll. It was delicious snd perfect. My husband had a burger with cheddar and caramelized onions. Cooked medium just as ordered. Newly trained Corey checked back with us frequently. The only negative was the torn seat covers in the booths. One was worse than the next.

Hostess was clearly doing other things & was bothered by having to check us in - we came in earlier than our reservation & wanted to have a drink in the bar while waiting for our friend. Bartender Kaitlyn was great!! Super knowledgeable & made great drinks. When our friend came went back to the hostess stand to ask if we could have a table in the bar....she was again busy making a table for a large group & ignored me. Finally someone else came up & helped us. Rating would have been a 5 if not for ether hostess , actually probably should have been a 3 overall, but we liked the bartender.

I was there today for lunch. The service was horrible - short staff or not - simply terrible. No one came over to the table. I had to get up and find someone. I ordered the strawberry salad which has been the menu for years. I ordered it specifically without salad dressing but dressing on the side. It came out soaked. I had to once again get up and find our waitress. She took it back and by the time I got a new salad my friend had finished her lunch. The waitress when she brought it back out to me took my silverware. Once again I had to get back up and I finally said pack it up because it wasn't worth staying. The salad itself was 80 percent spring mix, a ton of cheese, a few strawberries cut in 4 slices and 2 cherry tomatoes cut in half. Not cheap just for spring mix. 3 stars is generous. They need to do better if they are planning on staying in business.

Waitress was very thoughtful and attentive, even brought a separate cheese-less bread dipping sauce for my wife without our asking. I had the fish and chips, which were somewhat overcooked and quite “bready.” When I was done, my plate was filled with fried dough that contained no fish. This is a quality restaurant, and I'm sure they will do better next time.
