I highly recommend the Bench Restaurant in Rio. Wonderful staff, very friendly and hospitable. The food's great, presentation is very appealing and most of all delicious. We love the happy hour which ends at 7 pm so go there early .
Had a horrible experience here. It took 15 minutes to flag someone down to order the food another 30 minutes for it to arrive, and then I ended up with horrible food poisoning from the crab bisque. I called Marriott customer service only for them to never follow-up.

We had a very enjoyable and nice dinner yesterday. I feel bad that the previous reviews are quite negative on this wonderful restaurant. We’ve been to Bench so many times and we were always very happy with the food and service . This is a hidden gem in Rio. While other restaurants are crowded and noisy, this one has a classy and quiet atmosphere. The food’s delicious and flavorful. We appreciate the chef and the hosts- they get busy with a small staff but they are still very hospitable and attentive. Our server last night was Alie and I’m sorry I didn’t get the other lady’s name . Keep up the excellent work . We will surely be back .

We had not been to The Bench for dinner since our wedding at the Marriott Washingtonian. Our dinner was remarkable. Our waiter was one of the best we have ever had, which made our dinner even more enjoyable. We will be back!
Good food and nice ambiance. Our party of 4 sat in a booth facing the windows with a view of the lake outside. The space was a peaceful setting, near the lobby, but with not many mid-day patrons. Would come back again.
Great food and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The buffet included turkey, halibut, prime rib, chicken and they had plenty of great side dishes to include a delicious stuffing, grilled brussels sprouts, and string beans. The ambience could've included a little more Thanksgiving background, like a picture backdrop to memorize the day and some holiday music pipped into the seating area. Otherwise, all was great.
Very good food and service was very good as well. A tad expensive but quality if turkey and prime rib was excellent for a Thanksgiving lunch!🥪
Completely disorganized. We walked in no hostess in sight, one person working(ish). When we asked to be seated, couldn't even understand that we are customers. We just walked away to a different place
A great spot to watch a game and eat a nice meal. The butternut squash soup was very good. My French dip sandwich was covered with too much mushroom au jus, not what I am accustomed to for a french dip. Usually the sliced steak and cheese are all that is on the sandwich and you can dip into the au jus to the degree you want. I felt like they were covering up the taste of the meat by putting so much sauce on it. The wait staff was friendly but stretched thin for the number of people to serve, so our service was a bit slow, but done with good cheer and knowledge of the menu.
Food is dangerously bad. Eggs Benedicte was the worst I have ever had any where. McDonald's egg mc Muffin is better. The ham is on the verge of rancidity and no holidadsise sauce. They served hash brown patty as home fries

I mean - it's essentially a hotel lobby. It's ok. I wouldn't return on purpose.
Buffet was already done and there was no such information on the website we were very disappointed
Dining there with our family was a pleasant surprise. The food was really good and the atmosphere was nice. Plenty of TVs if you want to sit back and watch games etc.
Good service, good food.
