Whenever I’m in Arlington, I can’t resist stopping by Guapo’s. This time, I brought a guest visiting from Texas so she could try one of my favorite spots.
We sat in the bar area to catch some college football, and our server was quick and attentive. The food was on point — flavorful, fresh, and just as good as always.

I always forgot how loud it is but it's a fun environment! Everyone enjoyed their drinks and every last bit of food.

The restaurant's interior combines modern comfort with traditional Mexican touches, creating an inviting, warm, and energetic atmosphere suitable for both casual family dinners and lively weekend gatherings. The ambiance, enhanced by lighting and decor, makes it a welcoming spot to enjoy drinks and unwind, especially with live music and DJ entertainment added during the week.
The food at Guapo's shines brightly. Guests consistently praise the excellent quality and flavor of dishes like guacamole, chicken tortilla soup, fajitas, and seafood options such as the tequila shrimp and camarones brochette. The Guapo’s Superior Parrilla combination and fajitas are highly recommended, with generous portions and beautiful presentation. The ceviche, made with calamari, fish, octopus, and shrimp, is fresh and flavorful, often described as a must-try. The drinks, including well-balanced piña coladas and margaritas, complement the meal, though service hiccups have been noted during busy times.
