Nice spacious location by the Rio lake, friendly staff, delicious food, a little expensive, tranquil enjoyable atmosphere.
I highly recommend the Bench Restaurant in Rio. Wonderful staff, very friendly and hospitable. The food's great, presentation is very appealing and most of all delicious. We love the happy hour which ends at 7 pm so go there early .

The Bench is a popular spot to watch a game and enjoy a nice meal. The butternut squash soup is very good, and the Thanksgiving brunch buffet offers a good variety of both breakfast and traditional Thanksgiving food. The buffet includes turkey, halibut, prime rib, chicken, and plenty of great side dishes like stuffing, grilled Brussels sprouts, and string beans. The space provides a peaceful setting with a view of the lake outside, and the ambiance is friendly and calm. The staff is very helpful and welcoming, making the dining experience pleasant. The restaurant is especially nice for special occasions like Mother's Day. Although the prices are slightly high, the great food and drinks, along with friendly staff, make it worth visiting again. The atmosphere could be improved with more Thanksgiving-themed decorations and holiday music, but overall, it remains a great place for a relaxed meal and watching a game.
