As another example, I was shocked to see a review giving them only 3 stars commenting she got sick (even though she said she loved the food there). I was wondering if she did not cook her food well in the hot pot, or she couldn't handle the spices.“

“I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was here. The staff was very friendly and courteous, and the food was excellent! I highly recommend their white tuna rolls and bento boxes. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very pleasant and somewhat traditional, which in my book is a big plus.

This has definitely become a favorite spot for my girlfriend and I to eat at. I wish I could find more japanese restaurants like Yiku.

Parking: The spots near the shopping mart are pretty full, but the spots closest to Yiku usually have some openings.“

“Our second time here. Possibly best chips and fajitas in Maryland that we have had since moving here from Texas. Both warm and cold salsas are good. Taco Dorado and Tres Leches are good. Food overall is very good. Wife says Margarita is good as well. Service seems a little rushed but friendly. Lively atmosphere with loud music and screens everywhere. Will definitely return.

You can enjoy a full bowl with a mixture of four non-spicy stews for just $11.70. The portion size is generous and can easily make for two meals. Overall, I am very satisfied with the food quality and highly recommend this branch (Gaithersburg) to everyone.“
