“I have been going to Tom and Rays since the old location. What makes them stand out is the cost conscience menu, fresh tasting food, and a staff mostly local high school kids that are professional with can do attitude. Right now I’m raving about something as simple as stewed tomatoes as a complementary side dish. Their breakfast foods including creamed chipped beef fresh. Their lunch and dinner foods bring you back, especially the open faced beef sandwich with mash potatoes and gravy, to a simpler time. Check out their menu and ask them about their pies.“

“I live about 20 minutes away from this Ledo’s. There are two Ledo’s in my hometown and while dough, sauce and cheese is always a winning combo, the taste at these two Ledo’s is consistently inconsistent. I overheard that the Damascus Ledo’s is the best one and taste just like the original in College Park. Hands-down, I gotta say it does. It was worth the 20 minute drive. The Ravini Politiko, coconut cake was the best I ever ate! The Thalissina, seafood pasta had plenty of seafood in it and delicious. Even the cappaccino was delicious, very smooth, no bitterness and taste great with dessert! The server, Baris, was attentive, friendly and did a great job taking care of us. “I went here today with my parents and older brother, the place is very clean and welcoming. We didn't have to wait at all to be seated since the place was empty. I ordered the pho with steak and brisket, along with the Booboo's milk tea. The pho didn't have an overwhelming taste, it's taste was very delicious and not that strong. For the milk tea, the tea wasn't that sweet nor that bitter, it was more in the middle. The tapioca pearls weren't that chewy or soft, it was okay at best. Overall, I definitely will be going here again. It's a hidden gem in the Gaithersburg area and definitely should have more people know about it!“

We started with breakfast (tasting the local culinary treasure of scrapple), then I was introduced to their burgers on the same trip, and I was surprised that everything is cooked to order. I have not found any burger yet that is close to comparison!! My husband's family has made this a regular stop for sandwiches over several decades and generations. My father in law (nearby farmer/owner of Greenstone Custom Farming) has eaten there for several decades along with feeding his crew from this hidden gem, this has been a favorite of my husband's since he was old enough to eat there, and now it is a favorite place for our children to eat with grandpa. The store is small and with limited seating, it would be best to order the food to go or if you are eating alone you can sit at the counter and watch your food be prepared. A must try in the area and definitely worth the drive through the beautiful countryside!“

I told the waitress I did not get my dessert the last time. She trusted me and gave my dessert. This shows good character. “Moved to Germantown 3 and half months ago and came here for the first time last night, Judith was our waitress and she was great! Service was fast, food was amazing, the staff were great..even the security people! We got to witness 3 birthday celebrations they do and the performance is quick & fun!!
