“So excited about all the great things that are happening with Black Ankle. My husband and I are wine lovers and really have come to love Black Ankle. The wine is seriously the best in Maryland. I am a current wine club member and we recently had the most delightful time visiting your vineyard! Matt was our tasting expert. We learned it was his first time doing the tasting with guests and he is so remarkably knowledgeable, kind, fun and patient. Good customer service is hard to find these days, let alone outstanding! “Called to see one of your Friday regulars Terry. Tried a couple of your ales thought the bitter was great, as that's to my taste. Terry bought me a growler of stair way. “Fantastic!!! You need to get the Bacon Cheeseburger Dip, dear lord it is fantastic. I had Brisket Sandwich which had the lean brisket. It was tender and moist and perfect amount of smoke. Others had the pulled pork and pulled chicken platters that were also great. The Mac-n-Cheese is the best BBQ place Mac-n-cheese I've ever tasted. Green Beans are also very good. Only miss were the Hushpuppies. Not bad, but not as good as everything else. We will absolutely be back!!!“

“Great spot to stop in and have coffee and light food. They have a small menu but is perfect. Parking is on the street, but don't worry if you can't find any spots. There is a parking lot 30 seconds away! Follow the errors up the hill, and u will see the parking lot on your left.“

“We were very pleased with this small restaurant in downtown Mount Airy. Our wait was only about 5 minutes on a Saturday around 11:30am. All of the staff were friendly and appeared to work well together to keep things flowing smoothly. My husband had an omelette and I had the handmade fried chicken steak with sausage gravy. We both enjoyed our meals. If the opportunity arises, we would go back to this great breakfast stop.“

“Sempre is right up my ally. If you like a Mexican/American style cuisine then you will love siempre. Don't get me wrong, it has great Mexican food, just not the 100% Mexican style cuisine, but that's more of my style. Trust me, I really enjoy an authentic Mexican dish, but I'm also pretty picky and some would simple, so I Love Simpre. They have great, detail oriented authentic Mexican fód, but they also have simple Mexican/American food that fits my style? “Just great. Coming home to Norther VA from the all of the home Raven games my son and I always stop at Chipotle next door. Did the same last night but when we walked out I smelled the hibachi and decided to go and get something. Got the chicken and shrimp and it was awesome. Staff was great and portion was huge, which is hard to find these days. Told my son my new go to on the way home is Quickfire.“

“Loved coming here. They have a very nice selection of IPAs, hard ciders, sours and stouts. Everything from the flight (they offer a 6 or 12 selection flight) was a 8 out of ten or higher. “Excellent, traditional tasting Ledos pizza. I grew up going to the original Ledos by college Park. This pizza is pretty close to the taste of that. Plus we are out in the Mount and there is nothing better than a little taste of great Ledos pizza out here?“

“Our lunch at the Chong Yet Yin Chinese Restaurant in Mt. Airy was very enjoyable. Both my wife and I had the hot and sour soup. For our entrée we had the San Shien Wor Bar which included shrimp, chicken and beef along with vegetables. The portion size was generous and the service was friendly and attentive. We look forward to a future visit to the restaurant.“
