“I discovered Sasuns Cafe a few weeks ago and I have come back each time I’ve been in the area. Can’t speak to the rest of the menu yet but the Zattar Jalapeno & Tomato flatbread is OUTSTANDING. I’m not sure you can find a better option for less than $10 in the county. The Steak and Cheese is perfectly balanced with seasoning and crisp vegetables, combined with a with a fresh roll making for a great bite. Try either of these items, you won’t regret it. Looking forward to exploring the rest of the menu!“

“Went during the week for lunch. The cannolis were authentic and out of this world I will return just for this. The spaghetti and meatballs in an olive oil butter sauce were fabulous. The chicken marsala was good, but very salty for my taste. The waiter was fabulous. Fabulous. Fabulous service. The restaurant itself is in a strip mall so if you’re looking for ambience, this is not the place but if you want good Italian food, this is where you go.“

My husband and I have keep it in regular rotation alongside China Bistro (Mama's Dumplings), and Sichuan Jin River. Becky and Wendy are incredibly hospitable, and the food is consistently spot-on. We especially come for their authentic Szechuan and Cantonese dishes — always flavorful, always satisfying. A must-try! Generous portions deliver excellent value at a fair price.“

“I have nothing but good things to say about Gourmet Asian Bistro (7224 Muncaster Mill Rd, Derwood, MD 20855). It offers Chinese, Thai, and sushi. I've eaten there 3 times in the past 2 weeks, and it's been excellent every time and affordable! The vegetable tofu soup ($2.95) is huge, satisfying, and full of veggies. The wonton soup ($2.95) has 3 good sized wontons. Both soups come with a bowl of tastier-than-average fried wonton strips on the side that I end up munching on during the entire meal. The sizzling black pepper beef ($16.95?) was tasty, but I was more impressed by the noodle dishes. The beef chow fun ($14.95?) and the Singapore mei fun ($13.95) were beautifully seasoned and cooked perfectly. I've also gotten the salmon nigiri ($5.95?) a couple times, and it's generously portioned and fresh with great quality salmon. Every meal ends with a complimentary tiny scoop of vanilla ice cream and fortune cookie. There are plenty of good Chinese restaurants in MoCo, but Gourmet Asian Bistro is my current favorite for best flavor and value.“

“My work splurged on us a lunch for us consisting of the Rasa Tantori Tasting Bundle. This meal is advertised as feeding 10 people, I think they are underselling just how much food you get. Were 10 extremely hungry people and then we were 10 very satisfied and perhaps overly full people a few minutes later, with food to spare! Nothing was particularly spicy, there was a little heat on one of the dishes, but nothing crazy. The variety of food is well balanced. Chicken, tofu, saffron rice, Greens, salads, chickpeas and curry with 2 chutneys, even dessert cookies! I recommend this meal if you are looking for an easy way to order a variety of food in one go that can feed 10 hungry, or 14 less hungry people. Especially if any of them are cautious about trying Indian. It was delicious well made. Not to mention conveniently delivered.“

“Finding a hidden gem after a long day of touring is always a win, and Quarry House Tavern delivered exactly what we needed. It is a fantastic, relaxed basement dive bar with a great, chilled-out vibe. The bartender was friendly, and the regular prices are very reasonable—but if you hit their happy hour, the prices are absolutely incredible. The food is also decent and hits the spot. Just keep your eyes open when looking for it, as it is on the side of the building and you have to walk down some steps into the basement. If you are in the area, it is absolutely worth a stop!“

“I spend over $250 a month here. Most of the staff know me because I come in so often. The service is typically very good. Carlos, the manager is very friendly and always gives great service. Along with some of the older staff. But some of the younger staff need further training on proper customer service. Twice now, I’ve gone there, with the same individuals, and asked for a bag for my food. Instead of assisting me, they put the food on the counter and point me to the bags, saying, “they are over there!” I find that very distasteful and in poor taste for a frontline person serving the public. Part of the customer experience is assisting the customer. I worked retail for many years and always made sure my customers were satisfied. That kind of service is unacceptable!“

“I had never been to Delhi Spice before, but I randomly chose it because we were hosting good friends from Virginia who love Indian food. And I'm glad I did. The food was excellent and everyone loved the dumplings and the sauce. The menu is varied and we enjoyed our selections. Olga, our server, was nice and friendly and very professional. She suggested the Ruple beer which went great with my meal. The place is small, which was perfect for us, and has ample parking in the back.“

By the way, it is hard for me to believe this restaurant does not get 5 stars! We travel all the way from VA to this place at least two times a month. We just love it!!! P.S. I read the reviews that did not give them 5 stars and feel those reviews may not be fair to them. As an example, one review gave them a 4-star commenting food is great, quality is great, but expensive. Yes, if you compare this place with most cheap Chinese all you can ear places, $33 does seem expensive. However, fresh and high-quality food cost me. I am willing to pay extra for good, fresh food. As another example, I was shocked to see a review giving them only 3 stars commenting she got sick (even though she said she loved the food there). I was wondering if she did not cook her food well in the hot pot, or she couldn't handle the spices.“

It was Delish! I'm really surprised that this place wasn't crowded.
The place is simple and nice. There's limited seating inside but there is more seating outside. And the service is friendly. I was hungry but I'll try to remember to take a photo of the food next time. In the meantime, eat here. If you like Korean food, I think you'll ❤ it just as much as I did.“
