“New restaurant with new owner. First-time customer. Ordered their lunch special. I asked for fried rice. You can tell an excellent by the fried rice. Surprisingly, the fried rice was top tier. Excellent fried rice comes with each rice grain freely separated from each other. Bad ones are ones that clump together like clay, wet n oily. I had the lunch special sit in the container for at least an hour, but it was still free and not clumpy. The dish was tasty as well. A real surprise. Real value to add soup with $1. But the hot n sour soup was lacking ingredients and was too watery for me. Hope it gets to keep its excellent chef n quality. There is no good fried rice around here. This one is a gem.
The place is mostly a storefront. Humble beginning. Will definitely try other dishes for times to come.“

“I asked if General Tso Chicken could be made with no breading. She said sure. It was delicious! We also had Chicken and Broccoli and Chicken LoMein. The sweet and Sour soup was also exceptional. Everything tasted great! It was takeout. So we don't know about table service.“

“Amazing girl’s night out dinner. The lychee rose martini was spectacular! We had a scallion bubble pancake, chengdu garlic steamed pork belly (1 level spicy for these American girls who like a little spice), vegetable fried rice, and steamed pork soup dumplings (have to have the black vinegar and ginger with it). Hands down we would order every one of them again. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was great. It was super busy and bustling and full of animated conversations. Family friendly but not impacting parities without children. It was not too loud, so we could carry on a conversation easily. Absolutely recommend dinner here for a fun and delicious night out.“

“My wife and I have been going here for years. They make the general sao with tofu for her. It is the best tofu we have found in Montgomery county. They have always been so good about my families allergy to chicken. Super friendly people. Highly recommend. Everything we have tried on their menu we love
Vegetarian options: It might not say vegetarian but you can ask for anything to be made with tofu. I have been going for two years probably every other week. Idk how they do it but there tofu is AMAZING
Dietary restrictions: We have a lot of allergies and they are always very accommodating. Never had a bad reaction.“

“We came twice, one dining in, one take-out. We tried the specials (not on English menu): 什锦炒河粉three meat fried with veggies and wide rice noodles; 盐酥鸡便当fried popcorn chicken bento; 夜市炒花枝night market squid soup; 三文鱼炒饭salmon fried rice. The most recommended dish is the fried wide rice noodle, very good portion, good amount of protein and veggies. My second favorite goes to squid soup, comfort food, squid is fresh, good nutrition balance! It's good to have a restaurant offers family style food nearby.“

Met the owner, and he was wonderful too. I highly suggest supporting this tasty, and fresh establishment“

“Every time we order from Hunan Express in G-Burg, it' so good and delivered hot. The chicken in the sweet and sour chicken is incredibly tender and the sauce is so yummy. Egg rolls and BBQ ribs are delicious. The shrimp tempura uses large shrimp, but maybe too much coating. We get delivery and its always hat. They also have sushi that is very tasty. Please enjoy!“

“There were many free parking spaces on the front. The door required a strong pull to open (originally I thought it was closed until I followed someone in). It did offer a few indoor seatings, but I ordered three lunch combinations to go. Given the location and prices, it was great for our quick lunch. The shrimp chow mein came with lots of ingredients. The curry beef came with a few vegetables.“

“I admit that I was a little scared when I first came in because there was a wedding reception going on at the time. However, I’m glad that I stuck with going inside and giving Hong Kong Pearl’s nightly dim sum a try because it is one of the best that I had in the DMV.
I love how everything is made fresh from the phoenix claws to the shrimp dumplings and that nothing tasted overpowering. Plus, it was sweet of the waitress to ask if I wanted to order tea. I’m especially grateful to her for bearing with me on my Mandarin.
All in all, if you love dim sum and you want to make date night even more special, then please, give Hong Kong Pearl’s food a try. You won’t regret it. 真的。:)
Vegetarian options: There’s definitely a vegetarian section on the menu, albeit I wish that the dishes were cheaper. Nevertheless, they are tasty. ?
Parking: Even on crowded days and nights, you can find plenty of parking. :)“

“I ordered a carry out of beef brisket hand-pulled noodle soup from Lanzhou Hand Pull Noodle. It was less than 10 minutes from the time I ordered the soup at the register to my receiving the beef noodle soup.
By the time I got home all the ingredients were still warm so all I had to do was to reheat the soup. The wheat flour noodles were a little soft for me but they definitely tasted fresh. The beef brisket pieces were were tender and flavorful. The green leaf bokchoy pies and radish slices were fresh and cooked just to the to the point of maintaining their crunchiness. While the stock was flavorful, it was inferior to its counterpart in South China.
It is a small cozy restaurant atmosphere, and for anyone who can read Chinese, the signs posted around the restaurant are pretty funny.
I would recommend this place to anyone who craves a hearty and delicious northern-styled noodle soup.“

“A family owned small but very nice Chinese restaurant that looks very clean and feels very comfortable.
We went there for a casual business dinner. And it is good for a meal within a family or good friends.
Seaweed infused fish fillet: this is highly recommended. The fish was very fresh and juicy. The shell was crunchy and tasty. I love this one.
Roast pork: highly recommended. The pork was very tasty, a perfect mixture with salty and sweet. And the meat was very tender.
Roast duck: it was good for sure. But not as good as the seaweed fish fillet.
Shredded lettuce: tasty and crispy as expected. Recommended.
Foshan-made pig’s trotter: this was so so. Not bad at all. If you are not as picky as me, you may like it.
Gifei Chicken: it looked so pretty. Tasted OK. Definitely better than $5 chicken in Costco.
Combination in big casserole: the soup was soooo good! It was made by slowly boiling of pork bones. It doesn’t matter what were in the soup, they were all delicious.
Fried pork kidney with green capsicum: it was so so. The kidney was a little bit over cooked. But the entire dish was very tasty.
Deep fried prawn with salted egg yolk: highly recommended! This is one of my favorite Chinese dishes. All prawns were fried with a thin layer of crunchy salted egg yolk shell that had added rich flavor to the fresh prawns. I love it!
Water spinach with chopped garlic: the water spinach was very fresh! After a meal with so much protein, it is the best dish to delight your stomach.“

“Food is amazing. My husband and I left with a full stomach. We got the combo for 2. It came with 2 rice bowls and 2 side dishes. We picked spicy flavor for our soup, fish and beef as proteins, and bean curd sticks and king oyster mushroom as toppings. For the 2 side dishes, we chose fried pork belly and housemade sticky rice cake. The flavor of the soup is bursting with flavor and put a smile on my face. Everything was delicious and I can't wait to come back. I will be dreaming of that delicious rice cake dipped in brown sugar syrup.
PS. Music is not too loud like other places so it's great to be able to talk to your company.“
