The Thanksgiving brunch buffet had a good variety of both breakfast and traditional TG food. My only complaint is that the uncovered food was cold, specifically the French toast. I think I was just was a little expensive for what they offered.

My sister and I had reservations for Mother's Day Brunch. The restaurant was quiet, and the main seating area had a lot of empty tables, but we were asked to be seated elsewhere. Madison (The Manager) arranged for us to sit inside the room. with everyone else. Thank you. The food and drinks were great. I thought it was slightly overpriced, but we had a great time. Thank you!

The food selection and quality was fantastic. There were options for every type of diet. Utilizing the conference area in the back allowed for tables to be spaced farther apart, creating a quieter atmosphere. The staff came around to grab empty plates; otherwise, they left you completely alone to enjoy your meal and your family time.

Did a quick room service order of the crab and corn chowder which was good. The flatbread and salads also sounded good, so if I'm back for a conference again, I know what I can try.

I have never had better, more tender prime rib in my life!!! I didn't even need a steak knife. And the mashed potates were creamier than I have ever had. It would have been nice to have some vegetable selections, though. And I thought $60.00 was a little steep for a buffet but that may be normal for this day and time.

Open, light, quiet, good food. What more could one ask? Nice hotel restaurant and we enjoyed their brunch menu. We live in the area, so weren't staying in the hotel, but had no problem getting a reservation and enjoying their service.

Went to happy hour on a cold quiet night. Nice booths with TVs. A nice ambiance and $6 margaritas were delicious, albeit a little small. Will go back in the spring or summer to enjoy the outside patio.

The quality of food has always been great and the servers continue to be very knowledgeable of the menu with a professional attitude.

This was a quiet evening. Restaurant is in the Marriott and it shows. But the food was well prepared and the service was top notch.

My family came here yesterday for lunch. We were looking for a place to dine outside and the Bench hit the spot. The manager agreed to serve us outside even though it was January (but still 60F outside) and it was a good experience. We had the mushroom flatbread, the sweet potato salad, the crab soup and I had a Bloody Mary. Everything was enjoyable - I think my favorite was the soup which was more like a bisque than a typical tomato based Maryland crab soup. Overall I appreciated the good service and the nice patio overlooking the Rio lake and would recommend this as a lunch option for those wanting to dine outside while at Rio.

We went on Dec. 26 for a quiet birthday dinner and we turned out to be the only people in the place. The service was outstanding (staff was super pleasant and appropriately attentive). Food was very good and the sous chef gave us a (gratis) tasty appetizer that included figs and goat cheese on a crispy crostini. Salad with salmon was delicious and prepared wonderfully. My husband really enjoyed the butternut risotto with mushrooms. Only complaint: everything was a little heavy on the salt. Also, nice happy hour pricing and selections. The only negative: the website should be a little more up front about the fact that this restaurant is more like a bar. The pics and description online make it appear to be a sleek, cool restaurant but unless they have the patio open, which they didn't since it was Dec., the ambience isn't quite what the pics would lead you to believe. Other than that, a very nice experience and we'll be back once the patio re-opens.
