Unfortunately, the table was very dirty and sticky. The server was in a dirty apron, which wouldn't have mattered if it wasn't already dirty there. The food was okay but not great. Lukewarm appetizer. Honestly quite a disappointment. And embarrassing as I hosted someone who wanted to go out for a “nice dinner” and I trusted this would be the place!
We were lucky to be sitting fireside which was a bonus. Service and food were good what you would expect from a res. Nothing stellar. The noise level was very loud making it difficult to to carry on a conversation
I've dined at this restaurant many times, and overall, it's a good place to eat. However, my 4-star rating for both food and service is based specifically on my last two Brunch visits. On both occasions—around 12:30, right in the middle of service hours—there were empty chafing pans and plates on the buffet line, and several hot dishes were not even warm.
