“I actually liked this place and will be returning for the happy hour. Came for youngsters birthday and we ordered a lot of stuff lol.
Tokyo tea: 6/10 strong but I’d pass

Mai tai: 10/10 strong and very good

Coconut shrimp: 8/10 not bad

Shrimp tempura, dynamite, dragon, Baltimore roll: 8/10 all pretty good and happy hour prices

Sake wings: 7/10 decent for $3.75 would pass

“Had a lovely late lunch today at the new Frederick location. Sushi was very fresh. Both the sexy jalapeño and the garlic chili tofu appetizers were delicious. The restaurant is beautiful with a throw back vibe. Can’t wait to sit at the sushi bar, and outside. Our server Jefferson was attentive and very nice.“

So I popped out the car to do a quick walk-in check cause the exterior of the building really looks like a prop from the Walking Dead.

However, inside is a completely different story. And even the bathroom was super clean.

Also, order the duck noodles. Or anything with duck. Not only is it delicious, you gwt a lot. Will definitely be back.“

They have a great lunch combo of picking two sushi rolls (standard options like California roll, Philadelphia roll, spicy tuna, etc.)and a side of miso soup or salad. My wife's dish was delicious and full of flavor, my sushi was well crafted and tasty, and the miso soup was your average miso soup, nothing special, but helped to make the lunch combo very filling for around $15. Atmosphere is nice and quiet, while the service was quick and helpful. Looking forward to going back with fellow sushi lovers to try one of their larger platters. I recommend you try this place out whether you're a sushi lover, or just like good food!“

“The best food you will find in the area! We live in Pennsylvania and drive the 50 minutes to have dinner here. The owners are so friendly, food is always fresh, and the restaurant is always clean. From the bathrooms being immaculate, to the tables, to the plates. We have never had an issue here. If you haven’t tried this place you are missing out.“

“Found this cozy sushi spot while passing through town on a business trip in MD and decided to stop in for a quick lunch. Really glad I did. The layout is simple and efficient, and everything just feels well run.

The manager was super friendly, and the staff all seemed genuinely happy—no grumpy faces at all. That’s always a good sign, and it definitely felt like the food was in good hands.

I also liked that they have a fountain drink machine right in the lobby. The restaurant is in a plaza with plenty of parking, which is a huge plus when you’re traveling for work. Solid experience overall and I’d definitely stop by again if I’m in the area.“

The prices are very reasonable, and the family that owns it simply could not be nicer. Kuki is right by my house and easy-peasy to get to.“
