Fresh Baguette is a bakery in Germantown. The food is absolutely delicious. The crogel sandwich is light and savory, with a perfect balance between croissant and bagel. The panachocolate has just the right amount of sweetness. The cro'gel village sandwich has wonderful flavors, and the oregano aioli is a perfect compliment to the chicken, tomato and greens. The croissants and pastries are the best in the area, beautiful and delicious, fresh and authentic. The Madeleine and Tarte Normande are wonderful and not too sweet. The atmosphere is nice and quiet, a good spot to get work done or have a relaxing meal, with cute outdoor seating and lots of parking. The staff is friendly, helpful, attentive, accommodating and professional. The coffee could use a bit of work, and the location is a bit difficult from the opposite direction of the road. Still, this place is the current best cafe/bakery option in Germantown.
