IHOP is a popular restaurant known for its great food and pleasant atmosphere. The service can vary, with some waiters providing excellent service while others may not pay attention to detail. Customers have noted that visiting during busier times can lead to a better experience, as the staff tends to be more attentive and operations more efficient. The menu offers a variety of classic American breakfast and lunch options, and while some combinations may not work as well as expected, many enjoy the classic breakfast that always hits the spot.
Recent reviews highlight mixed experiences. Some customers have faced challenges with to-go orders, mentioning that interactions with staff can sometimes feel unwelcoming. Complaints about pancakes being stuck together and slow service during off-peak hours have been noted. Others, however, praise the restaurant for its kid-friendly atmosphere, with clean high chairs and great options for children. A standout experience involved a server named Erica, who was described as exceptional, efficient, and kind, making a positive impression on guests. Overall, while there are areas for improvement, many still enjoy their visits to IHOP.
