This is the best Italian restaurant in the DC/MD/VA area by far. It’s a bit of a drive for us from Bethesda, MD but if you want consistently excellent food & service, Mamma Lena is simply the very best.

I had a wonderful time at this Italian restaurant. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. A big thank you to the two owners and Ms. Lena for their exceptional hospitality – they truly made the experience special. Highly recommend!

Love the food, love the service, and love the desert. We went for lunch, and all of us enjoyed our food greatly. We will be back soon. Several options for desert. We tried the tramisu and portfolio, delicious. Highly recommended.
It is a small place, if you go for dinner make reservations.
