Hai Zhou Village Reviews
The food here is not consistent. Sometimes its really good (about 70% of the time), and sometimes its just OK. I usually get the Orange Chicken and Crispy Beef. Once I got the Sweet and Sour Shrimp, and the shrimps were so small, plus they deep fried it until it was like a rock. I prefer Kenny's Sub Shop in gaithersburg for consistency.
Every single time I have ordered from this establishment, the food has been excellent. Always hot, best fried rice I've tasted in a long time that doesn't taste like grease where other Chinese restaurants in Germantown it seemed to literally their fried rice just wants to slide down my throat that's disgusting.
Point blank literally my family's favorite place to order Chinese food from

Hai Zhou Village is a Chinese restaurant that offers a variety of authentic Cantonese and Hong Kong-style dishes. The menu includes classic options like beef fried rice, shredded pork pan-fried noodles, BBQ/roast duck, salted fish tofu chicken casserole, and sautéed yu choy. Customers have noted that the portions are generous, with fresh food that tastes good. Many enjoy the delicate, crispy chicken wings and tasty dumplings, which are must-order items. While some dishes like the pork and duck can be hit-or-miss, the beef and broccoli has been a favorite for several customers.
The restaurant is known to be busy at times, as the staff manages both in-person and online orders, but the quality of the food keeps customers returning. Some reviews mention the honey sesame chicken and orange chicken as dishes that will not disappoint. However, there have been concerns about cleanliness, with reports of hair and unwanted substances in some orders. Despite these issues, many still find Hai Zhou Village to be a solid selection for authentic Cantonese and Hong Kong-style cuisine, appreciating the fresh vegetables and good quality meat. Overall, there is hope for continued improvement in both food quality and customer service at Hai Zhou Village.
