“Annual Fall ride into the mountains westward brought us to the Penn Alps on a beautiful October afternoon. The Friday buffet is awesome and well prepared....baked haddock fillets and cod, large butterfly shrimp, excellent fried chicken, ham, clams, clam chowda, salad bar, real mashed potatoes, hand dipped ice cream on homemade blackberry cobbler.Beltbuster......“

“Very good experience for a McDonald's, store was clean and the bathrooms were decent. I think their milkshake machine was even working though I didn't want a shake while on a road trip. Their drive thru seemed fairly busy and they had the self serve kiosks but were still helpful and willing to take an order at the counter too. Provided condiments and extra napkins when asked and was polite the whole time.“

“Today on our journey we stopped at the Dawdy Haus Coffee shop. We had a outstanding and very delectable chicken salad sandwich on a croissant! If you have never been here you must try. I myself had the special Buffalo crunch wrap with spinach.... yummy yummy! Best lunch ever. Service was outstanding, now off to shop in the Whispering Pines store.“

“What a delight. This is a good place to get good home cooking. This is what your mama would make vs an elevated culinary experience. We were passing through town and stopped for lunch. It was a great local experience. The fries were fresh made, and the onion rings were nice. The BLT was awesome, and the burger was cooked well. If you found this review helpful, please give a ?“

“They have a puzzle on the table anyone can work on, great service and cute little shop. They don't have alot of food but they have monthly specials of ice cream and coffee. There's cookies to buy as well as a couple small business's merch and creations. So friendly; there is a kids corner as well“
