Everyone here works real hard, and are always kind. For pickup orders, they wait until you walk in through the door to give your fries a quick 1-2 minutes in the fryer to make sure they are extra crispy and hot taking home. My go to is the chicken salad sandwich with some toppings. Always delicious.

Their eggplant parmesan is really great. I have not tried the other sandwiches, but my wife said the Italian hoagie was perfectly cromulent. Has a sleepy 90s feel inside, which is a-ok with me. They even had 90s cartoons on the little TV in the corner

The only issue I had was the gentleman (who was extremely courteous) never washed his hands nor was he wearing gloves and he was working the cash register, handling money and also making food. The only reason I didn’t say anything is because I was waiting on mine. I refuse to anger the person preparing what I have to ingest. The young lady washed her hands continuously as I sat there and watched, however he clearly avoided doing so.
The food was good but hard to enjoy because I could not stop thinking about what I witnessed:

Stopped here on the way out of town for a quick bite to eat with my family. We didn’t want fast food. Everything we ordered was great! Fish sub, pizza and fries!! Better than what I expected. Ate every bite. Thank you!

For my First time I have to say I REALLY enjoyed the food. I ordered a Steak and Cheese sub with extra meat thx to the suggestion of the person who took my order telling me it was their most popular. And that's my favorite anyway. Definitely loved it and will be trying other sandwiches from there. I also ordered a shrimp basket which came with steak fries and cole slaw. Even though the fried shrimp was a little overdone it tasted good. Sadly my fries were a little soggy but that's probably because it's difficult to keep them fresh and crunchy when delivering from really ANY PLACE. They still tasted good though. Everything was on time and the delivery driver was cool ? Only reason for the 4 stars is the shrimp. Maybe 2-3 were kind of too overdone.

I’ve recently started eating at GJ’s and my first order was a turkey club with banana peppers and jalapeños, a side of fries (glorious streak fries) and pickles on the side. The sub was simply delicious, very flavorful, and the fries are always hot (crispy and golden on the outside and soft on the inside), and the customer service has been wonderful.

I had someone pick me up an X-pepperoni small pizza. The taste is fine. This looks like the regular amount of pepperonis. I wish I could like this place more.
