Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. The food was mediocre at best. I had the chimichangas and the chicken was burned and the tortilla was over-fried so it tasted terrible. My daughter got enchiladas and they were pretty bad too (we asked for queso sauce and got melted cheese). The service was awful - SO SLOW. We were there for almost 2 hours and most of it was waiting. It took more than 10 minutes to get a couple glasses of soda. There was 1 table (4 people) there when we got there and another (2 people) after we got there, and it took over an hour to get food (we were 5 people). The food was so bad I left the restaurant hungry. Honestly, if this place makes it that will be a miracle.

Please take your neon open sign down when your closed especially during your normally listed business hours. No signs on door that you had any change in hours or listed on website. Showed up with family to locked doors! So was looking forward to trying this highly talked about food!
Very good carne asada and pupusas!

The ceiling in this restaurant is very low — it feels cramped and uncomfortable. The waiter was not polite and service was extremely slow. Most importantly, they do not value the customer’s time at all. I had to wait far too long for everything — to order, to get the food, and even to pay the bill. It was frustrating and unprofessional. If you care about your time, I would not recommend this place

Casa Juarez is hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve been to! The food is absolutely delicious — every dish is full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Whether you’re craving authentic Salvadorian favorites like pupusas and yuca frita, or Mexican classics like tacos, enchiladas, or fajitas, they do it all with love and authenticity. You can really taste the homemade touch in every bite!
The service is amazing too. The staff is super friendly, welcoming, and always makes sure you feel right at home. They’re attentive without being overbearing, and they make the whole experience feel warm and personal. I always leave full, happy, and ready to come back again.
If you’re looking for a place with great vibes, incredible food, and genuine hospitality, Casa Juarez is the spot. Highly recommend!

This place was great. Fresh produce, perfect amount of char on the steak, and great salsa. Service was great. Come in and ask for Ada. She's polite, friendly, and has a great set up going. I will definitely be back soon.

Let me start by saying any establishment that stays open serving food till 11 pm on a week day in Hagerstown has my respect and admiration.
Now, pulling up to Casa Juarez just before 9 pm had me more than a little bewildered. On the outskirts of downtown not far from the fair grounds, you may find what is seemingly a 2 story house with christmas lights on in mid-May. Alas, the restraint sign gives the constructs true nature.
Walking in a surprisingly large interior meets you with 2 story dining, including a second story outdoor patio.
Shortly after ordering soft drinks and pupusas, I begin catching glimpses of other guest orders.
Colorful cocktails and tasty looking tacos pass me by. Leaveing me hopeful for what some of the higher end menu items have to offer. Some 20 to 30 minutes later, this hope is escalated by truly great pupusas, albeit slight downtrodden at the weight time.
When my meat lovers platter finally arrives short of the advertised jalapeño and cheese, I find myself in further dismay at the lack of sauce. This is a fajita style dish served with succulent sizzle that pictures that can not personify. Still, the normally welcome char in the chicken, steak, pork chop, and chorizo is choked down in the absence of the standard medley of sauces found at any other establishment.
My girlfriend and I opted to leave meet on the table rather than bring home a togo box for the first time in years.
In summary, the true beauty and value of Casa Juarez is that it offers a unique late night experience with drinks and some of the cheaper menu items (2 for 6 tacos & 2 for 5.50 pupusas). A younger me would have jumped at that value, and if the right crowd finds its way to Casa Juarez door step It may find lasting success.
