I saw Mimi's when I drove by today and placed an order to pick up on my way back home. I REALLY like Pork Papusas that I get from a little Mexican restaurant in DC and this is the 1st local place I've came across the has them so I had to give them a try. I ordered 1 pork and 1 birria Papusa. My son ordered the Tacos De Asada and Arroz Chaufa(Peruvian fried rice). He said his tacos were good and I tried the rice, it was good. Super authentic, real deal. Hands down, best pupusas, sopes and Salvadoran food in the area. The owners are incredibly sweet and passionate and you can taste that love in the food. And the tortas...don't even get me started 🤌🤌🤌
The food is so affordable and comforting and the desserts are incredible too. Everyone is so nice! They have a really well stocked soft drink fridge too. 5/5 so much love is put into this restaurant and food.
