I was looking for real croissants for my tea. Not those look alike lumps of foamy bread you buy at the grocery store. I need my tea and a croissant in the morning 😅. I found exactly what I wanted and more at Silt. A gem of a coffee shop hidden in Hagerstown. Sophisticated tastes on the menu and a lovely comfortable atmosphere. Classy, and very friendly. Support your local small business. I'll definitely be back around for more.

We were on our honeymoon and the lady who was doing our flower preservation recommended Silt for coffee and sandwiches. And they did not disappoint. The people working here were extremely friendly and the owner is really amazing! Super sweet and friendly. And on top of it, the food is amazing! We had to come back again because we enjoyed it so much. I had the waffle breakfast sandwich with chicken and the Queen of England coffee, which is caramel and English toffee, normally I'm not a fan of caramel but this was delicious. The sandwich was exquisite!! Husband had the breakfast croissant with chicken and his was amazing as well!! He got the white chocolate raspberry coffee as a frappe and it was really good too!! I cannot recommend this place enough!! Go there!! <3

Silt is definitely a 5 star ! The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was cozy and soothing. The Sparkling Lavender Lemonade is very light and refreshing, definitely a great way to start the day! 10/10 experience I had :)

After living in Hagerstown for a couple of years, I finally started exploring local coffee shops to work remotely—and I’m so glad I found Silt Coffee. This cozy little spot is truly a hidden gem! It’s tucked away with ample parking, which makes it super convenient and keeps you away from the busy road.

Inside, there are plenty of seating options, making it a great place to settle in and get some work done. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are incredibly friendly. After just my second visit, they remembered my go-to order (24 oz cold brew, light on the foam)—which really says something about their attention to customers.

There’s a guy (possibly the owner?) who’s always chatting with customers like they're old friends—and the vibe is mutual. You feel like part of the community here.

Also, the prices are very reasonable—it's refreshing not to spend $20 on a sandwich and iced coffee. Silt Coffee has definitely become one of my go-to spots. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area!

I got a breakfast sandwich on a croissant which is always so good and this one was very good. Also the sweet cream cold brew genuinely tastes like sweet cream like an ice cream that flavor. So good!!! They’re fast and everyone is so nice

You MUST check out this Hagerstown hidden gem!! Food is affordable and amazing!! Customer service is A+. The store is immaculate and feels very comfy and home like! Lastly, huge shout out to Gary for managing a 5 star coffee shop!!

This place…a hidden gem with the friendliest baristas and chefs! The made to order drinks, and delicious and creative menu designed by Chef Gary must be experienced. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable with space for meeting clients or friends and an outdoor patio for nice weather lunches. The best in town!

I've been frequenting Silt since moving to my new office in May. The food is an absolute HIT and it's the same quality every single time. I no longer drink coffee often but the couple times it was so silky smooth and flavorful. I typically get a large cup of their infused water. Also their desserts so so good!!! So many wholesome options that not only taste good but are good for you.

Exceptional cafe! The staff are the BEST and FRIENDLIEST I’ve met in any cafe…and I travel a lot! Their salmon on brioche is the most delicious sandwich I’ve had in Hagerstown and that’s including restaurants. My go-to is the coconut caramel latte. The staff even made my favorite side salad a couple times after discontinuing the item, which was such a nice surprise. They’ll read this and know it’s me because I’m a regular now! 😅 Silt is a hidden gem and I hope they’re here for many years to come. My friend even drove an hour on a weekday to finally check out Silt. See you all soon!
