Simmons Homemade Ice Cream Store makes their own ice cream and it is fantastic. They have been in business for over 100 years. Their ice cream tastes delicious and it is so fresh. The chocolate ice cream is a personal favorite. This is a cash only establishment with limited hours. It is a great old time ice cream stop with a lot of history, family run after many decades. The flavor follows what is local fruit at the time. The service is great, and the elderly man who serves is funny and nice.
