Based on the reviews, Kajiken Arundel is a great new addition to the plaza. The food is good with quality that is just as good if not increasing. The vibe is right, a nice mix of modern Japanese with a cozy atmosphere. The restaurant is very clean and stylish, and the employees are helpful and attentive. The staff knows exactly when you walk in, when your water is low, and when you are wrapping up. The noodles are absolutely delicious and cooked just right. The ramen is delicious and hit the spot. Specific meals like the spicy tonkatsu, salad, fried chicken, chashu don, tokatsu ramen, and sukiyaki have all exceeded expectations. The portions are a little smaller than normally expected but not bad. It is a great place to go with kids. Highly recommend.
