“Costiera is small, inviting, and absolutely worth a visit. From the moment we arrived, the service stood out as impeccable. The staff was attentive without ever hovering, quick with suggestions, and made us feel genuinely taken care of.

When we walked in, there were two tables available right away, but they asked if we’d mind waiting just a minute so they could seat us at a much better window table. That kind of thoughtfulness goes a long way these days, and we really appreciated it. Our server checked in often, was kind, and gave fantastic recommendations that made us feel like we ordered the very best of the menu.

The food was excellent across the board. The pasta was perfectly cooked and tasted even better than it looked. The octopus was a standout dish—tender, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Everything we tried was balanced, well-executed, and memorable.

All in all, we had a flawless experience here. Costiera delivers on service, food, and atmosphere. Highly recommend, especially if you’re looking for something a little different done really well.“

“We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Ouzo Bay. The swordfish was among the best I have ever had -- well seasoned and moist, not overcooked. My husband had the lamb shank and it melted in your mouth. They could have added some additions to the dish, however. The baklava was a nice end to the meal, but it wasn't the layered variety that is traditional. With two drinks, the bill adds up quickly. There is also a 3-4% service charge (not explained).“

“After seeing the reviews we had to check out this place. We came for the early showing of belly dancing. First, the interior is wonderful - a stark contrast to the bright outside, you're immersed in a nice intimately lit environment. The lighting decor is great and photographic. The food is amazing. My wife and I shared a Sultan's feast, which gave plenty of variety in tastes and plenty to take home for left overs. The belly dancing was awesome. The performer started on stage and then visited all the tables. No matter where you were in the spacious restaurant, you got to see her dance up close. Service was top notch - our server was very attentive and the automated serving robots were cool to watch. Cazbar is a unique blend of modern and traditional Turkish. We'll be coming back for sure.“

“We stopped by SHAHS HALAL in Laurel and everything was amazing! We had the fish gyro and the falafel gyro with fries — all of it was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The owner was so kind and even gave me a portion of lamb with tzatziki sauce and cilantro, which was absolutely delicious! You can really taste the freshness and quality in every bite. I had to go to a restaurant that had halal food, which was about 40 minutes away from the beautiful restaurant. I had to go, I finally got there. The food they served me was delicious, but. We were in the area from Boston just for the night and learned of Xenia through our hotels concierge. It was amazing and probably one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food was outstanding and prepared beautifully. We had the Spanikopita, Greek salads, shrimp saganaki, and lamb riblets. All very tasty and expertly prepared. What really did it though was the on point service offered by Mary (Maris). Her efficiency, attention to details, thoughtful presentation of the menu, was a 15 out of 10! She is a super star! We were delightfully surprised by the restaurant’s generous hospitality when they sent us a dessert sampler compliments of the house because we were out of state first timers. “Good news, bad news. The croquettes and tuna tartar were delicious. The olives and octopus were okay. The paella was terrible. The menu lists all these ingredients that were clearly not included. The chicken breast on top was hammered. The dish was very oily and there was no socorrat which is the quintessential paella characteristic. I'm sure it's not easy to train staff how to do this well so take it off the menu until you get it right.“

“The whole restaurant was a vibe. Our bartender and server was awesome. Ellen is one of one. Her personality and energy was very contagious in a good way. They checked on us every 5 mins to touch base with our satisfaction level on drinks and food. They conversed with us throughout the whole dining experience. I was thoroughly pleased with the food and it was light after breaking a 17 hr fast. “My wife and I decided at the last minute to go out on a Saturday evening and we picked Marie Louise Bistro for dinner. We sat outside and had a genuinely wonderful meal! While you often see the same staff there for years, our server this time was young and new to the industry. Despite that, you could tell she had received training from the other staff, and she did a fantastic job. A very good sign! She had another waiter show her how to open and pour the wine, but aside from that we’d have barely known she was new to the job. As for the food, it was excellent. I’d give 9 or 10 out of 10 for everything and my wife enjoyed her meal too. I had a 3-course that included a surf and turf special, and my wife had duck confit. It’s incredibly reasonably priced for the quality of food IMO. A gem of a restaurant! If any of you reading this have never been then I’d definitely recommend a visit!“
