When El Amistoso opened at Tabeer a few months ago, I was excited at the idea of halal Mexican food. I got busy and quickly discovered one of my favorite menu items: the nachos (comes w/ chicken or beef). The nachos were consistently good for several weeks--generous portion; great tastes (black beans, tomatoes, cheese, guacamole, sour cream).. Hm, this wasn't bad! I enjoyed the Keema Naan (which is a blend of meat and spices that's cooked inside the naan) and fried fish (which is spiced with something I've never tried, but tasty). The tandoori chicken wasn't as moist as it could be but the green sauce helps in that regard. The onion naan wasn't terrible, but it wasn't all that great either.
