Please do not go to this place. I ordered five wings. They charge me $16 and the wings were horrible waste of time and money.also the service was just as bad😡

Pork chops weren't that good, but tge turkey wings was the best, and the fried whiting.....

Every time I order I never get the corn bread utensils or condiments I ask for . What’s the problem I’d have to stop patronizing over something petty but get it together it’s frustrating being at work with no utensils or condiments.. I won’t b back ordering for awhile .

This is not soul it's Latino food now.Potatoes and onions was horrible had peppers nastyYou must have new cooks who can't cook soul food.Won't be returning.

The atmosphere was nice. The associates were friendly and personable, and the food was delicious. The only thing I wish is that they showcased or identified what food is in what area on the serving line as they have all the food covered. You can't really tell what is on the menu for what looks good to you in that moment.

Great food

This seems like a nice place, except for the open and proud anti-asian sentiments being proclaimed. I wont be returning, plenty of other great food in this city for people that dont tolerate this behavior

This place looks poorly maintained. The prices are ridiculous. $35 for an oxtail carryout. No customer service either. Not returning.

Went in to get lunch and the staff just gave me a dirty look and no acknowledgement. Then when a black couple came in she smiled and said hi. Don't go here unless the staff approves or they won't help you. Went to subway next door. Much nicer.

First of all how do you almost burn the waffles?!
Catfish is seasoned so well you may get a heart attack from all that sodium, and the grits don’t balance nothing for the taste just.
Fried apples was good though but maybe they didn’t make that. Please don’t order catfish and grits or waffles SMH.

First time there I felt rushed to order. Over pile your dish with to much food does not look presentable.

The employees talking amongst one another, no sense of urgency for paying customers. The cashier was having a full conversation on her cell phone while ringing up orders, totally unprofessional.

The food is decent, but the customer service is terrible and will probably keep me from coming back!

The food is good lm coming back here for breakfast. I got the special omg eggs sausage cornbeef hash was good l tore my plate up. Highly recommend.

Today 5/8/2026, at 4.53 I requested and paid two meal: Ribs with Cabagge and Potato Salad and Meatloaf with Red beans and Potato salad. The total amount was 33.31 USD and a tip of 3 USD. Went home and when WE tried to eat there was only one meal and two cornbread. The Cashier herself make like putting both of the meals in a paperbag and gave the receipt... I TRUSTED HER HONESTY... EVEN THERE WAS A CHANCE FOR HER TO GIVE IT OR SAY SOMETHING, BECAUSE AFTER I GOT THE MEALS I RETURNED TO THE STORE AND WENT TO THE BATHROOM.
NEVER AGAIN. JUST CHECK YOUR BAGS OR WILL SNITCH UR FOOD.
