This is the worse eguisi soup I have ever tasted in my life, I was sooo hungry and wanted to eat so badly, ordered this dead looking eguisi and I regretted it instantly, please close the restaurant if you don’t know how to make this dishes, or employ a good Nigerian chef coz this is absolute trash, meat was not even boiled well, I’m so upset I want my money back

Disgusting went straight to the trash can. Waste of Money. It was so bad I didn’t even eat the shrimp and I love seafood. Presentation was horrible too. I use to order from this place all the time. I don’t know what’s changed, but I would never order from this place again. I must add the shrimp and jollof never looked like this. The presentation is new to me.

Horrible experience bought fish on DoorDash the fish was spoiled and taste spoiled wasn’t freshly cooked and definitely wasn’t cooked the same day either.

The food will definitely make you want to come back. I love this African restaurant, and on the weekends and night time it doubles up as a club too.
Horrible and rude service. Had to call two times to clarify the menu and ask how to navigate the website because the discount they offer wasnt working to place the order. The person who answers is rude and we were told that he had other things to do just order what we wanted. EVEN THOUGH the menu has no detailed description. We gave up and just went with the place up the block. If youre not a native dont bother. Its sad because as a Caribbean person I love to support local black place but these people are RUDE and not helpful at all.
The person eventually called me back to tell me he had people asking him questions in person and I was asking too many questions and taking too much time. I told him their website has no information about what dishes have meat or not even if they are listed at vegetables that why we called. He then told us to just order on uber eats or doordash. Were not doing either because the point was to support a local business and walk to pick it up not to pay to have food delivered.

The food is always fresh and good. I wish the servings were a little bigger i.e cassava. My favorite is the goat stew, and grilled tilapia.
They can do better with time, but the food 100% makes up for it. Goat meat pepper soup, whole fish and the brisket suya are my absolute favorites! 10/10.
