Slam-dunk place to grab some outdoor drinks and a bite from a local food truck in the warm summer months. Very accessible via bike, and prices that are on the lower side of average. I've been here several times and intend to continue doing so.
I'm just visiting the area, but a friend who used to live here recommended that I visit Streetcar. I haven't even finished my beer yet and I already feel like this would be my local go-to if I lived here! The vibe feels welcoming and low-key, and the taplist has a nice variety of styles. Train watching was a fun surprise.
To say that not every place is 100% hospitable if you show up less than an hour before closing would be an understatement. On a weekday, even more so. Streetcar 82, however, is exactly that, with a wide range of excellent beers on tap, nice outdoor seating (particularly for train enthusiasts), and friendly, helpful beer-guides. Thank you very much! We'll be back.
