“I hosted a corporate dinner party at Boordy last night, and it was my first time being at their facility and getting to experience what they offer. After a miscommunication between myself and the (external) caterer, who was providing food for the event, I was left scrambling to figure out how to accommodate all of my guests in a very short amount of time. Grace and Carly immediately leapt into action and saved the day, no questions asked. They went above and beyond to help out, never once stressing out or making the inconvenience seem like an inconvenience. It was top notch service from both of them all night and extremely appreciated! The wine was wonderful, the space was great and I can't say enough good things about the service. Thanks again Carly and Grace!”

“My first visit here and I was absolutely blown away by every aspect .... the service, attention and graciousness of the staff is well beyond 5 stars. Juanita recommended so many things to help make my experience so enjoyable. The food was outstanding! She recommended the buffet so that I could try several things I was interested in. Others on the staff showed me some presentations for the way some items are traditionally served. What a wonderful dining experience in Bel Air! Highly recommend this restaurant!”

“I just have to share the fantastic experience we had tonight. My husband and I went to The Local around 6:30 pm (prime time without reservations lol). The only available seats were a high top table in the bar area. They asked us if that was ok and we said “sure”. Within a minute or so after being seated, it became apparent that our vision of a nice relaxing dinner would be impossible in that room. The Preakness was about to begin, and that bar was loud and hopping! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining, I love to see people enjoying themselves. It was a party, but just wasn’t our vibe tonight. We decided we would go elsewhere. We politely informed the hostess that we were going to leave because it was just a tad too noisy, but that we would definitely return again soon. We stressed that we were not mad, or upset. As we were walking to our car, a very nice gentleman followed us out and asked if we would consider returning if they could sit us elsewhere. We said “Of course!” We didn’t think there were any other available tables, but he said they would work something out for us. We told him we didn’t expect them to go out of their way for us and that we could wait. Within five minutes, we were seated at a lovely table in the dining room. We later learned the gentleman that helped us was none other than the owner/ executive chef Zack. We went on to have a delicious dinner with the most attentive and charming server. They demonstrated exemplary customer service, which sadly is lacking in many other establishments. We weren’t expecting any special treatment, but they certainly went above and beyond for us, and it was very much appreciated! When we were leaving, Zack happened to be outside, so he made sure to ask how our experience was. We told him it was amazing, and that his restaurant has been one of our favorites since it opened. We told him we would be back soon. Our experience there tonight is just one of many examples why this restaurant stands out, and why we will always highly recommend them! Thank you all so much for proving customer service is not a dying art!”

“I dined there for the first time tonight, and I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is quaint, cozy, and perfectly decorated. The first two drinks that I got were absolutely amazing, as they were custom-made. We also tried a flight of tequila, which was also very delicious. We both got an entrée each, and got nachos and queso. It was all absolutely delicious. The waitress kept coming back to check on us and was very attentive. Thank you for a lovely evening. We’ll be back!”

Upon entry SUPER CROWDED. College students and young adults everywhere.

Despite the heavy crowds, there manages to always be a seat for my party, the employees are fantastic, and the food continues to be delicious.

Kyle had a big personality and was very pleasant.

Collectively, we ordered the following.
HH-House Wine (White) - Amazing as usual.
HH-House Wine (Red/ White) - Refreshing
Broccoli - Came out cold, sent back for hot broccoli.
HH-Steamed Shrimp - Plentiful and yum.
HH-Grilled Lamb Chops - Tender, well plated, savory.
HH-Thai Chili Wings - Amazing flavor, great texture and temp.
Fries - Ok. Room temp.
HH- Spinach and Artichoke Dip - Very good. Plentiful.

The Hostess, "Crystal" went above and beyond and truly brings the vibe, knows her role, her ability to engage customers, her energy.. The food was and the presentation of the Flight Sampler was cool little birds.. We had Coco Bread(Better than Texas Roadhouse) , Salmond with Rice n peas and coconut cream sauce AND Jerk Chicken Rasta Pasta. Topped off Crystal made me a personalized Mother's Day dessert of warm pound cake with vanilla ice cream and drizzle on top.. “My first time at Miss Shirley's with my daughter's for a Valentine's Day Breakfast and we LOVED it! When we were seated, I noticed that my daughter was given a book to read while there, in addition the kids menu, which I think was a very good idea. Vivian (I think) was our waitress and she was very friend;y and helpful. I loved the way the children's food was plated, in a bento box style. My oldest daughter had the red velvet french toast, which she enjoyed, my youngest daughter got the Belgian waffles, and I got eggs, turkey sausage, hash browns, and a biscuit. Everything was delicious! The mimosa was good and I enjoyed the coffee. Definitely will be back.”

“Been meaning to shout this place out for a while. But Otoman HALAL SPOT has got to be the best halal food in the county, and easily some of the best I’ve ever had. I eat there multiple times a week. For the vegans/vegetarians, their falafel is the best I’ve had. Their portions are incredible, and they even have non-halal food for those who like sandwiches / burritos / desert.”

“Their drinks are always so good, no matter what I get. I'm a fan of bubble tea, so I have tried many of the local places, and Chatime is hands-down the best! The store owners are SO friendly and really care about the community. The food they serve all come from local small businesses, so the quality is top notch! The egg custard, red bean, and pork buns are my favorites! 😋 For drinks, the strawberry au lait, tiramisu milk tea, and mango tea with mousse are my go to!”
