Overwhelmed, frustrated and with tears in my eyes I prayed and walked into Kake Korner. The Krew and Ms. Donna said they could make it happen and that is exactly what they did. “Cakes Plus provided a wonderful cake for my son's wedding several years ago, so my son recommended the bakery when I wanted to purchase a cake for my grandson's 30th birthday. I knew the words I wanted written on the cake, but didn't have a design in mind. Many, many thanks to Hannah for her patience and for helping me nail the perfect design!! Everyone loved the vanilla sheet cake. (See picture.) It was beautiful and delicious. Then, when I went to pickup the vanilla sheet cake, on a whim, I decided to also purchase a smaller, off the shelf, lemon cake with a balloon design. “Yesterday evening I last minute decided to go to this establishment a little too late not paying attention to their closing time. It is very rare that when you see a business closing that the people inside will pay you any mind. I would have been over excited if they had payed me attention and nothing else. The person at the desk not only acknowledged me but proceeded to ring up my order (which he didn’t have to do) beyond their closing hours. I think we all know what we go to this established for at this point but this person went above and beyond and helped me to walk away from here with a feeling that is rare in this day and age. I wish I knew his name but his attention to detail and customer service spoke volumes and left an impression. ✨“
