“Visited the café today! Loved the delectable and creative menu, the warm service, and the beautiful, cozy interior. We enjoyed the inasal, tocino, and ube latte (complete with delicate latte art) courtesy of Sun and Stars Coffee. Our kid was thrilled she could enjoy an ube steamer, too-- and didn't want to stir her drink because she found the art (Hiraya's logo in this instance) so beautiful. If you want reimagined, creative, and elevated Filipino cuisine where the flavors simultaneously bring back sensory memories of the comfort food of your childhood, this is the place for you. Can't wait to return!“

“There are quite a bit of great Filipino restaurants in the area. Alot are really good interpretations of elevated filipino cuisine which I like alot. But, when I am in the mood for something similar to homestyle Filipino food that resembles and tastes like what I cook or close to what my mom cooks and don't have the time to cook, I order from Kabayan. The food is fresh and tasty and the staff had always been great. My favorites are the sinigang, lechon kawali, and menudo. For a great filipino meal at a great price, come to Kabayan!!“

“Taste of the Pacific food truck stopped at Ft Belvoir and I’m so happy they did. As soon as I parked my car I had to follow my nose till I found the food truck. I ordered platter 1 which was chicken on a stick, rice noodles, and egg rolls. It was mouth watering! Great flavors! Female taking orders/handling transactions was very nice. Kudos to the chef over the grill. I told my family about the great food so I hope they will be back soon on Belvoir.“
