“Finding a Filipino restaurant isn’t easy. So learning about Purple Patch thru Jo Koy—has ended this search! Literally, Filipino cuisine heaven! The restaurant is uniquely decorated, the staff were friendly, & the food hit that major comfort button for us! Thank you Zahara for being so sweet & a wonderful waitress. We can’t wait to come back for more!“

“My experience at Kayu was lovely. Chef Paolo does an amazing job of sharing his culture through his food. The menu was very approachable and interesting. Each dish felt nostalgic somehow even though it isn’t my own culture. The service was attentive and our waitress was able to match me up with the perfect cocktail for my mood and it was beautiful.

The steak was a standout dish to me- the sourdough bread dipped in the sauce was perfect. All three desserts we tried were delicious.

It was a fantastic evening and we will definitely be coming back!“

“Such a cute spot I'd definitely come here again. This is lowk the best matcha I've had in the area. Rockville's matcha scene is lacking but this place gives me hope even though it's not a cafe. They source from Nami's Matcha which is my fav matcha brand and I'm so happy they make it so well. Strawberry matcha was perf to me I have no notes other than the fact that I wish it was bigger lol.

I also ordered a kamayan platter which was also very yummy and pretty visual if you dine in. I loved the pancit and the lumpia in it. The meat was a bit dry but that's ok!“

“Delivery: Ordered the Tapa entree, and it was delicious but I was shocked by the portion size for $17. The food was delicious as hell, but I feel like there should’ve been more weight to the dish, especially because my Filipino friends are always very generous with their portions. I know times are tough but maybe something to consider. I’ll try eating here in person another day and see if the portions are the same. Four stars because of the portion size“

“Always enjoy getting delicious meals from this favorite place, Jollibee. My family especially my kids would be grateful that I am bringing them foods from Jollibee. “First trip to this fast food location and I finally understand the hype. We got half spicy and not. The chicken was juicy but spicy. Don’t underestimate the little flags that say spicy on the chicken because the spice level is on point. The adobo rice was dangerously addictive, and the gravy deserves its own fan club. The spaghetti caught me off guard because it was so sweet and had hotdog pieces in it. It’s definitely unique as a fast food option and more on the fun, kid-friendly side than traditional pasta, but for sure if you have a toddler, he or she will enjoy eating it. The Palabok was different because it had a strong shrimp flavor. The guava, lychee, and pineapple drinks were all refreshing and not your typical fast food drink options. Ordering through the app was easy, and pickup was a breeze. Overall, delicious 😋“
