“At the recommendation of a co worker I went in on a Thursday for their cheesesteak special and it dit not disappoint. The young lady behind the bar was very attentive, asked now we were doing and if we needed anything often but not too often where it would've been annoying. With hat experience we went back the following Wednesday for their burger special which also was very good. At this point we've done the specials for each day of the week and will continue to go back. Nice little bar with great staff, great food and a cozy atmosphere.“

Not a locals only type of place and our barkeeps, Luke and Andy did a great job making sure that we felt like part of the gang while we were there. Great selection of beers and whiskeys, too! Our food was really good - wish they had soda bread to go with their delicious stew and Mac & cheese. (I rounded up to a 5 on this one because the service was above and beyond).“

“I've ate here a good bit. and would have given 5 stars BUT our experience on Easter was not that great. we had a reservation for 2.....and we stood there for 30 mins waiting (when a table was available) but they stuck us in the BACK right next to the buffet with a 9 month old infant in a high chair. he was able to turn around and grab the other tables cloth...that's how cramped we were. food is always good. my kids love their crabby chicken and I like their seafood wrap. I do recommend to go here and try it out....just maybe not on a busy day“

“I visited here for the first time this weekend and I am SO glad that I did! Great food, service, atmosphere, etc. And they have our favorite (so far) German beer - Paulaner, which was a real treat. Even better was finding out they have it all year long! :) Looking forward to our next date night there!“

“I got off the bus on my way to go to JimmyThe Boxer. A guys was standing on the patio and I asked was the food good here. He replied yes and if you like tacos, try the shrimp or steak tacos, they are really good. I ordered the Shrimp Tacos and Amaretto Sour. The total was less than $20. The drink was awesome, and the shrimp tacos.........whew. Did my spirit good. Food and service definitely will have me coming back! I forgot to take pic of the drink but included the tacos.?“

“My favorite place around here. I love going here. It's always so much fun and everybody knows everybody so it's very welcoming. Food and drinks are always on point! Kristen is a great server and we always love going and getting her!“

“Popped in for lunch while our vehicle was being serviced up the road. Sat at an indoor hightop in the bar area. Our server was prompt and polite. Lunch menu selection was decent. They had some St Pats food/drink specials over the weekend. Food and service was really good.Only downside was the generic, modern country music blaring throughout the restaurant. Might be ok if that’s your thing, but it wasn’t easy to have a conversation with someone across the table, much less hear anything from the TV’s in the bar.“

“Went here last night for a 50th birthday party. The vibe was really cool. The upstairs is where the party was held. I only took one star away because it was not made for those bigger sized folks like myself. They had horderves egg rolls, chicken and shrimp which were pretty good. They also had a friendly young lady working upstairs to take your drink or food order and she would bring them back. The music upstairs was being played by a person attending the party. That was a nice vibe because everyone got to request songs so all kinds of music was played. If you're a smoker there was a nice outdoor area where you could smoke. As I was leaving I noticed that they had a DJ on the first floor who was also rocking the music. Shout out to the DJ who was also rocking. Didn't even realize that I knew the DJ until he spoke as I was leaving. Not sure of his DJ name but, I know him as Mr. Gaines. If you get a chance check this spot out. It was a nice mature crowd.“

“Our alumni group which which meets monthly had lunch at Looney's several months ago. We were not pleased with the fact that a significant number of items on the menu were not available. Plus, a few of us didn't get served for over one hour when those served first had decided to leaveWe decided to give them another chance. All went well. We liked the food and it was delivered to our group at the same time. We provided a generous tip to our server and and 15 diners all departed at nearly the same time. Everyone was happy!“

“Great place with tons of great food. The prices are reasonable, and the bartender, who has been there for a long while, is very nice as well. Went there while vacationing in this part of Baltimore, and I enjoyed karaoke from DJ Mark, as he has an interesting approach to karaoke with fun little sound effects and such; he's a trip! Atmosphere-wise, it's your stereotypical bar feel but more welcoming. From my experience that day, the bar was a lot more popular than the dining. And the food was delicious! Where I live, they're called beach fries, but up in Baltimore, I guess they're called Downey Ocean fries; I had a pulled chicken sandwich with that. And the food was quick. My only complaint was that kitchen staff with long hair have their hair all out; if you get hair in your food (which I didn't) that's why. Otherwise, love the place.“

“They have a solid bar menu. The bartender Shay, was exceptionally nice and went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed right away. The food is decent. The French fries were some of the best I've had in a long time. It is a bar, but a great place to stop and get food and a drink.“

“Cozy neighborhood dive bar. My brother frequents Brannan so we went to check it out while I was visiting the area recently. My brother said he likes it because it's unpretentious and the regulars who frequent the bar are usually locals. He said it's always a good time as the people are cool and the drinks are fantastic. We actually stopped in for a midday cocktail on a Sunday afternoon. There were a few people there but not too many due to the time of day. We sat at the bar and an older gentleman took our order. My brother knew him so they chit chatted for awhile about the comings and goings of other locals. The bar is no frills for sure but I still found it warm and inviting. It had a certain charm to it that I can't really put my finger on. There are pool tables in the rear the bar and an electronic juke box. We played a couple rounds of pool while jamming to some tunes which was a lot of fun. I can't recall the name of the drinks I ordered but they were really good. They were fruity cocktails that the older gentleman mixed. He didn't skip on the alcohol either. We ordered 5 drinks total and the bill was just under $30. My brother told me that some people in the neighborhood look down on Brannan's because it's a dive bar but I had a great time. I didn't find anything wrong with it whatsoever. All the other patrons were really nice as was the bartender. The atmosphere was cozy and chill. I'd definitely visit again during a future trip.“
