I had some the Best shrimp lo mein today. It wasn’t greasy, the flavor it was the Right color, But the taste was like Chinese food from the 90’s ! ( If you know you know) That when Chinese food was Best.

Based on the reviews, Benny’s Sub Shop in La Plata, MD, is a solid local spot with amazing food and super friendly service. The food is top tier, hot, flavorful, and very good. The fried rice is great and way better than expected from a sub shop, with authentic Chinese BROWN fried rice available. The General Tso Bean Curd is a standout, with perfect texture when ordered extra crispy and fresh flavor. The steam dumplings are also a favorite. The little lady in the front is sweet, kind, and makes customers feel intimate when ordering and picking up. The chef is very accommodating. The customer service is super friendly and laid-back, making the whole experience better. It is a decent family business that prioritizes health and safety, taking time to cook every dish fresh and not selling unprepared food. Benny’s is a place where everything is finger licking good, and customers will absolutely be back to try something else.
