I was a little disappointed when I was told by the hostess that I was going to have to wait to be seated at on of the hibachi tables there were plenty of tables open. I ordered the filet mignon dinner with the French garlic shirmp. Steak was perfect shrimp were covered with bread crumbs drenched in oil vegetables were also saturated with oil.Tried the Tropical Lifesaver cocktail which was good however a little strong.

3.9.24 They may be the best Japanese steakhouse I've been to. They are located in Montpelier Center. Unlike other Japanese restaurants I've been to, they have just a main room with an open layout for the hibachi. There is also a bar and sushi counter. There were 14 people in my party. My friend made reservations for 6:30. Upon arrival, we were informed there was a mistake with our reservations. We needed two tables so the girl's table was seated after approximately an hour wait. The boy's table took about 1.5 hours. The guys sat at the bar and ordered drinks while they waited. I ordered the Hibachi Sirloin Steak and Scallops with fried rice and Garlic Shrimp for my appetizer. Everything was flavorful. My favorites were the garlic shrimp which I've never had before and the steak as it was tender and not chewy. Service seemed a bit slow, but our server was attentive. Because of the mishap with our reservations, they comped the boys for a round of sake. Definitely enjoyed the yummy food and highly recommend it! Just make sure to confirm reservations and ask for a name.

Nice spot for a traditional hibachi meal prepared in front of you. We visited for dinner on a Sunday and the restaurant was pretty busy. Our chef was very entertaining and had a lot of good jokes for the kids. The service from the wait staff was a little off...my 6-yr old was the only one at the table that didn't get the fried rice & it didn't get brought out until the very end after the chef was done cooking and he pestered the wait staff to bring it out. She was quite bummed sitting there for a very long time while everyone else had their fried rice. There was also some confusion about whether an elderly gentleman at our table ordered the white or fried rice as well that took away from a nice peaceful dining experience. The next day, the leftovers had an overpowering taste/odor of fish sauce that was not there when the food was fresh. If the service was better and the leftovers weren't fishy, this would easily be a 5-star rating.

Love going to Ginza our family celebrates all the birthdays here. They are always so accommodating, the staff is so friendly and the food is delicious!!! Frank is the best!!!
The entire experience was extremely pleasant. We had our 3-year-old and the 4-year-old birthday boy, and the entire staff were incredible at making us all feel welcome and happy from the moment we walked in. The service and the food were great. I really enjoyed my mojito and sushi. I would definitely return.

Not sure why I have never been to this restaurant until last week for the first time. Food was delicious. Staff was very friendly and prompt. If you have ever been to a Sakura please give this place a try. You won’t go anywhere else after trying Ginza of Tokyo!
I came to Ginza of Tokyo for the first time tonight, and it was outstanding! The service was great, and they were so patient with my 2 friends and I since we weren't really sure what we wanted. The fish and meat were cooked perfectly. The tenderloin melted in my mouth... A little later, I was even able to enjoy the very flavorful green tea ice cream. Thank you for such a nice evening! We'll be back :-)
