We have eaten here on multiple occasions. The food is amazing every time. The service today was not good at all. The waitress got our order and then was never to be seen. It was not busy at all as we were the second group there. While we were eating, she dropped the check as if to say please leave. We wanted to order more food but was never offered the opportunity to do so. She didn’t even bother offering to refill our drinks. At that point I did not feel welcomed and went ahead to get my own carryout box and bag which was provided by the bartender who was so nice and willing to help.

I love Kloby's! The food is fantastic, the service welcoming and thoughtful. We celebrated a special date starting with the pork belly deviled eggs and jalapeño pork balls. The deviled eggs were my favorite (who doesn't love a deviled egg?); hubby loved the spicy pork balls. Both are must tries! Careful though, the spicy pork balls have a kick to them (increased just a smidge by the sauce they sit in), that you may not notice until you've eaten the entire thing! Make sure you have water to sip because they are just that good! For our mains we had the meal pictured below, though I had to bring a serving of the Jar-B-Que home to eat for lunch the next day. I will not let another year go by before visiting again!

Pork belly deviled eggs and jalapeno pork balls to start. Finished with their famous bacon jar-b-que and brisket cheesesteak. Service was awesome and the atmosphere was quiet and festive for a lazy Palm Sunday. Our server and bar tender, Rebecca was AWESOME. She did it all this afternoon and made it look so easy! We have been away for a while and we will be back!
In search of a great place for barbecue, me and my girlfriend tried Kloby's Smokehouse yesterday. We started out with the chorizo and queso dip. While not quite as thick as I would have preferred, the dip's taste was spot on, fresh and delightful. I ordered the chicken and ribs combination dinner with mashed potatoes and brisket baked beans. While pricy, it was a full half of a chicken and a half rack ribs and I got two meals out of it. My girlfriend ordered the pulled pork plate with mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. All of the food was just fantastic. We were given six bottles of their different barbecue sauces to try... we stuck to Original and Carolina on the first visit. Definitely have to try the others (though maybe not the Bama Pearl... not really for us). Our waitress was attentive, making sure we were happy with everything. The ambiance is more sports bar than barbecue joint but that's a minor quibble. All in all, I think that we've finally found a great barbecue spot in Laurel.

Pleasantly surprised.Went with a group of 8 staying at a hotel within walking distance. Everyone had a good time and the food was better than expected. I had the Chipotle Brisket Burger with BBQ brisket beans (see pic). The variety of craft beers seemed to be a hit with those drinking as well.
