This place has THE WORST Brisket sandwich EVER. I have never had a more disastrous meal in my 74 years of dining. It was 60 % just plain cheap fat. I requested a re run and it came back the same deal. I eat at the Annapolis Red Hot n Blue and it is great. Whoever runs this place is running it poorly. ROUGH.....

The worst i have ever had! I had been waiting to try this place, intrigued by the name and wanting to try something different. What an awful disappointment and waste of my money.I ordered take out the Two Timer of beef brisket and pulled chicken. with coleslaw and crispy fries. Nothing was seasoned and the smoke was barely noticeable. The food lacked the obvious seasoning of salt and pepper to say the least. I thought it should have at least had that. I stick to my own families bbq and leave RHB alone. Epic fail in my books, I ended up throwing the food out.

This place sits in an area that is going through some rehab. Nice Location and easily able to access it. open to all types of people. There was a nice line of Bikes sitting front and center which coming from a rider was appealing to see. Also a great group of riders sitting at the bar. Service was wonderdul and my eyes were bigger than my stomach so I had a nice care package for the next night, The Ribs (Full Rack) with an amazing sauce did not disappoint me. The Brisket Burnt Ends App had an amazing flavor. Dont eat Lunch and then go for Dinner at this place and you will not be Disappointed. I will Defiinately be back to try Some of that Chicken on the Menu.

I've been a patron of RHB for many many years. It is not what it once was. Maybe age is showing through or maybe the whole franchise is bored and tired. The onion loaf was fantastic as always! The ribs were good but not as amazing as they have been in the past. The Burnt Ends app and meal was soooo good. That's what I'll get if I go back. The pulled chicken was meh and the fried catfish was salty. Our waiter was on top of drinks and we were a party of 8. We had a Birthday cake and he got plates and forks ready for it without me having to ask. Love that. Now, for the bad news. They have done something to the banana pudding. I'm so upset! It used to be SO good! There were no wafers in it and it was gritty as hell! I got two large containers to bring home and will take the remaining one to the work fridge to be stolen. I know my husband will make me go back one day. I will order the burnt ends, onion loaf, and not pudding. I hope my review was helpful!

The service was complete, but not warm, caring or above average. We understand that COVID affected restsurant service but as thete were umerous servers around, not sure why it was so methodical and rote. What was really distressing was the teeny tiny servings, from meat entree to sides. The green beans, macaroni, and collard greens were in seeming three spoonful servings. Never seen bowls that small! Brisket was also very small, barely enough to qualify as an entree. The salmon looked exa tly like the small slices of frozen salmon at Lidl. Nothing bad, nothing really good. All of that was nearly $60 with coffee....served in doll house sized cups!

Lunch was ok but very expensive. Server was nice. Clean place. Had the ribs, fries and cole slaw. Mixed drink from the bar was expensive and weak tasting.

Outstanding experience. Our server, Alexander P. was 5 star from beginning to end. attentive without overdoing it . My ribs were outstanding with RHB's very balanced delicious BBQ sauce. My wife equally enjoyed her pulled chicken. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our sides At the end of our meal the owner came over and we had a great conversation.

Besides the oil spilling everywhere, the there was barely any sauce left in the plate, which basically shows that the oil WAS the sauce. Oil stains were left on my porch. I could say the spill may be the Dasher's fault. And then the meat was bones and 2 sad pieces of what looked like tripe. The food was cold. Look at the "fish." The presentation was despicable as if it was prepared for a wild animal. What an eye sore. Went straight to the trash. I called them and they said they would send a replacement which I never got and probably wouldn't have eaten. You have no business listing yourself as a restaurant. And looking it up now, the location seems to be an apartment complex. RIDICULOUS!
During the pandemics peak - I tried to support local restaurants in particular - Red Hot and Blue in Laurel MD Almost all visits were great but the restarant was completley empy. The service "was" great and the personal touch was excellent.!! Fast forward to Fall 2021 ! I ordered take out " A slab and half of ribs. Easy Right? That order took an hour plus. They were busy but not packed. The kitchen staff appeared to be full and adequately staffed. I asked for 8 dinner rolls - Which were free during the peak of the pandemic ! They told me that the rolls were a dollar a piece and not free---$8.00???? are you kidding. I asked be be compensated due to the wait....they said no and reiterated that the rolls were a dollars a piece. The wait staff and management was rude and irritated that I continued to ask about the status of my order over an hour - so sad ! I talked with the manager and the order seemed to take longer !! The ribs are cooked in advance - over an hour !! Poor memory!! Hello Dave's BBQ !!! BTW i left then went to Popeyes and purchased 12 biscuits for a fraction of the $8.00 that Red Hot and Blue was asking - Better quality and more value!! Red Hot and Blue-- was not customer focused (Wait staff and Management) and I will never return to that restaurant in laurel ---ever ! Really Poor Service !

Food was less than mediocre. The BBQ was tasteless, as was the beans and collards. The mac & cheese tasted like Stouffer's filled with sodium and frankly disgusting. My 17yo son who eats anything couldn't take a second bite of the mac & cheese. Service was poor. Ordered 1 soda. Got two. Then charged for 2. Upon pointing this out to the server, she had no reply. Server was more concerned with the two young men around the corner than her tables. I do not recommend this restaurant and I will not go back. Don't waste your money.

I deleted my first review, I don't even know why. I gave them another try and the same thing happened, made the order waited 2 hours, 2 door dash drivers went up there. The order was canceled under the pretext that they are close. On the first review the replied saying they are close on Thursday, well today is Friday. If you are going to use the excuse that doordash knows you are close, update your hours of operation online, because it shows that you are open all week 24 hours a day. Again i waisted my damn time. and I recommend people to not support this business. They are very unprofessional.

We enjoy dining here and we’re glad when it was allowed to offer dining in service again. When we visited it was doing a great carry out business while indoor seating was only about 20% occupied. The food was as good as it normally is, but the service was slower, possibly because there were fewer staff. The service wasn’t so slow that we wondered if we were forgotten, but not nearly as quick as it normally is. Hopefully as dining returns to normal and additional staff are brought back, service will improve.
