“China Moon is a superlative carry out spot! I visited for the first time and ordered simple items that I use to gauge quality. The egg rolls were large and packed with freshness. The hot and sour soup was redolent with white pepper and loaded with shoots and mushrooms. And my green beans were beautiful and plentiful. I will certainly revisit soon! Bear in mind that the food is worth the wait. Popular spot.”

“Bruce Lee’s/New Chen never misses. Can’t believe the rating is below 4, that’s a shame and simply not true. I haven’t found a better carry out spot in Timonium and I’ve tried many. Our favorite dishes are the egg rolls, wonton soup, Lo mein, fried rice, General Tao’s, and chicken with veggies.”

“I ordered online hoping it would be a quick pickup but I still had to wait when I got there. I enjoyed my tasty tuna sub but I paid for 50% more tuna and felt it was no different than the usual amount. I love that the bread is always fresh. I also tried the chicken and cheese rollups. Though the price for the rollups was very reasonable, it was 90% bread and very little filling. I might consider trying a different version next time.”

“Marta manages to be both lively and cozy simultaneously in a rowhouse that previously housed Salt (one of my all time favorite upscale restaurants) We went for a friend's birthday, and all 3 courses were delicious, beautifully presented, inventive, and not the same old menu that you find everywhere. Very sweet wait staff was super attentive, educated about the food and wine and made great suggestions. Our original wait staff had an emergency and had to leave in the middle of service, but seamlessly another wait person stepped in to covered us. Kudos to the front of house team for handling with such skill and ease. But the food was definitely the star of the show. For me, the standout was the tuna cannoli. I'm not even sure I can do justice to this deliciousness with a crunchy outer "cannoli" shell with a slight hint of sweet surrounding a creamy center of tuna crudi with little dots of avocado cream. And all was covered with a pistachio "dust." The spicy meatballs were delectable nestled in a cloud of creamy spicy ricotta. And the Duck and Foie Gras Panzotti (little triangle ravioli) was creamy, delicious and the perfect combination of delicate tastes. And the Tiramisu Affogato ended the dinner on a delicious note! And for two people with drinks it was really pretty a good deal for the quality if the food, service and location. We will be back! Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5”

“What a fantastic meal my husband and our son had. Son has been to many restaurants around the world and we all thoroughly enjoyed this one. We tried many different dishes and split them . These included the sour dough bread , liver pate, Sussex smokie, mackerel and of course had a delicious dessert after. The service and the food were fantastic.”

Special occasions when the mood is right, we go to the ambassador for that special taste of Indian cuisine. I’ve been going to the ambassador for the last 20 years. “We just had the best experience at this restaurant. The staff were very helpful and polite sharing lots of big smiles. We got the lamb chops which I can honestly say are some of the best we’ve had at any restaurant. The chicken in the Tikka Masala was melt in your mouth tender. The restaurant was recommended to us by a friend who grew up in India. He said it’s true to his memories of food from his mother land. Please give this restaurant a try. You won’t be disappointed.
