Don't expect anything too fancy and sometimes they are understaffed for how popular it is (not the worker's fault, please be patient with kitchen and servers whenever clearly understaffed), but consistent, pretty cheap, comfort food in a blast from the past environment”

A restaurant's greatest struggle will always be balancing flavor with seasoning and these guys hit it out of the park. While these guys don't deal with nuance and complexity, they punch you in the mouth with bold flavors without being overly salty or greasy. the beer selection is focused and covers the gamut without being excessive with its selection.

My only gripe will be with the sides, but the entrees are so well done, youre not even going to want to eat the sides.

“I was lucky enough to be invited to enjoy high tea at this beautiful, old home on Beaver Run Road. The mansion, the setting, everything was perfect. We chose our tea from a wide variety of flavors (mine was Spring Berry....delicious), we then were invited to pick our personal tea cup and saucer from a china closet. Our meal was delicious from the salad, soup, tea sandwiches and pastries. I felt like "Miss Marple" enjoying high-tea at an exclusive restaurant. Our waitress was so accomodating and kind which added to the wonderful experience. I hightly recommend this beautiful setting the next time that you would like to savor a wonderful afternoon.”

“China Wok has the best Szechuan / Thai dishes within a 50 mile radius. It is ran by a very kind generous family that take pride in their restaurant, your always met with a smile. Owners are constant with quality ingredients, nice size menu, flavor packed, large portions that are shareable but too delicious to willingly share. Best recipe and time in preparation of the beef and chicken, out of this world savory tenderness with a rich silky texture, my personal favorite! If you are picky with rice, you will not be disappointed they use a better quality rice that is freshly cooked, perfect firmness that's soft and moist, you know that clean made with love flavor! None of that funky starchy after taste like the certain 2 restaurants in LaVale serves you unless you enjoy eating old reheated dried out low quality rice! Open till 9pm walk in or call ahead”

“The service is great food is usually always good but the prices have risen too much for this small town when you can get twice the pizza for half the price in Cumberland, even Keyser is worth the drive for the savings if you have a vehicle. Always try to get food from here first because it's a locally owned business but times are tough!”
