I guess I didn’t pay enough attention to the reviews but I didn’t realize this was basically a take-out place that happens to have seating next to it. So much packaging waste! The food was fine. I saw vegetarian but not vegan options made with seitan. I’m sure I could have gotten them without the tzatziki and feta but I didn’t feel like going through the rigmarole that day so I just got hummus. Maybe my opinion would be better if I’d gotten the vegetarian gyro. I’d go here again if I just wanted to stop for takeout on my way back from the Crystal Grottoes or Hagerstown, if only for the sake of trying the seitan gyro.

Aleko’s is a take-out only restaurant inside of a gas station with lots of vegan/vegetarian options. We loved the vegan gyro, vegetarian sampler platter, and pita with hummus. The seitan is awesome!

This is, in my opinion, the best Greek food in the area by far, and I didn't even know it was there! All the best food in Middletown is located inside gas service stations. Try the gyro, get extra tzatziki, thank me later

Thank God for this Greek spot in Middletown. The best Mediterranean spot in the area. As others have said, by gas station and you never expect this good, but it is. My go to usually is actually the steak and cheese it's top notch, but their gyros are excellent and their deserts are solid as well if you want Greek sweets.

Yup. I have had a lot of Greek food throughout the years and HANDS DOWN, this is by far the best I have had. Don't let the gas station deter you from coming here.

The pita is soft, chicken gyro meat was flavorful, tender as can be and the tzatziki sauce is homemade. The baklava is layered perfectly with just the right amount of ingredients to make your mouth sing with joy. If you don't stop and eat here, then you are truly missing a real taste of fresh Greek style food. 10 out of 10, will definitely stop in again. You won't be disappointed ??

Excellent lamb gyro. Stopped by during a motorcycle outing. Will definitely return and try other dishes. Spent many years in Chicago and frequented Greek Town there. This rates very highly in comparison.

I love this little gem in Middletown. It has saved me so many times to just drive by and grab dinner. A family favorite for sure! It’s so special having a piece of Greece so close to home.
