Amazing ice cream and the price is great. They have a nice selection of flavors and toppings. The building is really nice, it looks like an old ice cream parlor. The owner is also very nice.
Great ice cream!
One scoop of ice cream and one brownie, no whipped cream, no cherry. Two orders of one scoop and one brownie almost 19 dollars??? YIKES.
The ice cream was amazing! The young lady who scooped for our family this afternoon was so sweet and kind. My daughters loved her hair and vibe. The only negative was not being able to tip with a credit card.
Ice cream is wonderful and so is the setting! We were so delighted to find it open so late in October.

Great ice cream but website shouldn't say open if they are not, we drove from Clarksburg to here and found it closed!
June 28, 2024 - Middletown has a great ICE CREAM parlor along the Old National Pike, called More Ice Cream!
My wife and I lived across the mountain years ago in Keedysville, Middletown is halfway , on our routine trips into Frederick. Usually we’d stop for gas, or building supplies, or lunch at the Main Cup. . . so we’re thrilled for this Ice Cream parlor.
1st time for us stopping in with our Grandkids for dessert, at More’s. Opened in 2014 by Jim Kehoe. Originally this spot was a Lutheran Parish house, built in 1848. Thank you Jim . . . for incorporating the original structure of the home ! As a former American History teacher, I love the nostalgic photos of Middletown’s high school heroes up on the walls of your ice cream shop! Of course , the many flavors of Garber’s (1912) Ice Cream are wonderful! Our group included 3 generations , no problem selecting our favorite flavors of ice cream!
Your high school staff were helpful & professionals! Our daughter from rival Urbana high school remembered her field hockey games against Middletown girls , a tough rivalry! Then out to the big “wrap around” porch to enjoy our desserts! Our little 2 & 4 year old Grandkids liked playing in the side yard. Felt safe away from the Main street traffic. Thank you !
We’ll certainly stop in again for More Ice Cream , on our way into Middletown, MD???

Recommended dishes: Ice Cream Cone
It was my first time coming to the shop, friendly employees, good ice-cream licking flavors, and a very true sign of “you’ll want more” blew me away. Its cheaper than Baskin Robins for sure and my family and I really couldn’t leave without one more cone. 10/10 I recommend.

I got a Mocha latte and unfortunately it had very little taste. I actually threw most of it away and just ate the cone. My wife got the strawberry shortcake and she said she could get better from the grocery store.
Perfect spot to enjoy a delicious ice cream cone. We sat on the porch after a nice walk around town.
Ice cream was delicious. There's parking around back
I'm surprised I have not rated this place earlier, I've been here on dozens of occasions. This is the place where I would recommend any ice cream enjoyer come, since the prices are amazing for what you get. At most times of the year, when it's open, they actually sell the ice cream cheaper than South Mountain Creamery's Storefront (which is where More's gets their ice cream from), and it's still just as fresh with many more options. The place is mainly staffed by the students of the high school, but they do a great job and are very kind to meet and greet every customer. This will always be a place I would come back to even if I moved away from Maryland.
