Visited today with my kids and while the ice cream was good the service by the taller girl with colored hair was less than desirable, disappointing and a little rude. I won’t return. Perhaps I’ll get better customer service at the ice cream shop/ pizzeria in Frederick. It’s a closer drive for me anyway.

This place straddles the line between “working farm” and “cute ice cream place” in the worst way, making it a sort of run-down shop with mostly pretty views that smells unrelentingly like cow poop. We struggled to keep our ice cream down.
Playground is paved in large gravel, so make sure your kids don’t fall! We could not find any adult cows and you can’t see the current milking barn, just an old one they don’t use anymore. Shop does not appear to offer the fun milkshakes advertised on their insta and website.
Two stars bc the ice cream tastes ok (not special, but good) and is fairly priced for what it is. Also the calves are cute.
Besides the farm, we drove 40min for an ice cream lab kids workshop, and it was 60% relay races organized by two women who had apparently never seen a relay race in their lives, 20% waiting in line for registration or ice cream, and 20% coloring pages. They gave us maybe a 30-sec verbal explanation of how ice cream is made. There was no demonstration of ingredients or process, though they did have one ice cream churn (for 50 kids) in the corner, which had a broken handle.
We won’t be back.

The delivery and food has gone down hill. The salads have gotten smaller but the price has gone up. I hate the reusable bags they are so dirty to the point of disgusting.( for the price Im paying it should not be delivered in that at all)The chicken used to be packaged very nicely and in a clean cardboard box. The milk is nasty now. They never have a date on foods like when the meat was frozen or bagged. The prep meals do not have a date either. Do not get fruit from them and be very wise on the produce that you get from them because most of the time it’s bad. this place used to be great almost 2 years ago.

A great out of the way place for children AND adults to learn a little about dairy farm life and to satisfy their ice cream sweet tooth but also those who want/need natural dairy products. While not a complaint, in my own recent experience, they were so busy that the ice cream freezer lids had to kept open which produced a very soft and runny result. That, combined with the hot weather, meant I rapidly had a thin, though very tasty, shake!😋🤣
I haven't had a glass of milk in 40 years, I know, horrible. But I ordered milk from the creamery for a recipe and before I made the dish, I drank the entire bottle of milk! Delicious, refreshing and beyond fresh...not to mention, delivered to my front door with several other items that were equally fantastic! I can't wait to order my next delivery. 10 stars!!!

The ice cream was so good. I got cookies and cream. The waffle cone wasn't great though. The cows are so beautiful here and very well taken care of. They all have very clean pens. This has been my favorite place like this.
