Overall, very good experience. The menu is solid and the Hot Dogs are delicious. My only issue with this place is there’s no one there to greet you when you arrive, you’re left wondering what to do. Take a seat? Wait to be seated? Ring the bell?. In fact one time we stood around so long, we just left. Again, once you are situated, the service is great and food is delicious. I think they should really improve the arrival with a host or someone monitoring the door. It’s a small restaurant in a small town.

A dawgon good dog. I'm from out of town and got recommended to this place by a family member, and I couldn't be happier! I had a "Crabby Dog" with a pretzel bun, homemade crab dip, melted cheese, and a sprinkle of old bay on top. I only have a photo of it half dug into because GOOD LORD. Talk about surf and turf goodness. I'll be here for the week, and no doubt I'll be back in to have it one more time at least. Their fries are also stellar!!!
Kid-friendliness: The tables are coated in chalk paint with chalk at each table for kid and adult fun alike!

I have always enjoyed the food here; however, tonight I was very disappointed. The hot dogs were good, but the fries were terrible. I told the server that they were hard and overcooked. Since you have to pay first, it couldn’t just be taken off of the bill. I expected the server to offer to make them over. This didn’t happen. Her response was, “Sorry, sometimes we get a bad batch. I just serve the food. I don’t make it.” I just left because I knew if I opened my mouth, something not so nice was going to come out!

The Chesapeake burger is something I literally dream about.
Great hot dogs that are yummy and pop when you bite them. Very good milkshakes!!!The tables are textured and they give you chalk so the kids can draw on them. Fun place and great food!

Come for the homemade chips! They were crunchy, salty and warm. We also enjoyed a Chicago dog and Maryland crab soup. They have kids meals and a few bottled beers available too! It's a small space and it gets chilly in the winter.
Kid-friendliness: Kids meals available, they come with Capri Sun.

My husband and I have slightly different experiences here. He likes it better than I do!
Food: this is where we are split. He loved his hotdog, he got a Chicago style dog. I’m a vegetarian who leans vegan. There were only a couple vegetarian options and all were cheese-based. I’d love a vegan hot dog!!
I got the pretzels and cheese dip and they were baaaad. It was pretzel bread not even real pretzels and the cheese sauce was awful. I’ll try the grilled cheese sandwich if we come back, maybe it will be better. So for me the food was 2 stars, for my husband he rates the food 4 stars, good but not amazing. So I gave 3 stars for food, meeting in the middle.
Service: not great - seems like they are understaffed. Not bad either. Totally average, so 3 stars.
Atmosphere: really cozy and cute inside. Took off 1 star only because the table we were at wasn’t cleaned before us (there were still wet rings from the previous diners’ glasses) and the tables are a little close together.
Overall it’s worth checking out, I do recommend it, but not if you are vegan or vegetarian.
