The food was pretty good, but I got carry-out on my first visit, and unbeknownst to me, the plastic bag that was handed to me by the employee had a huge tear on the side, so everything spilled out of the bag when I exited the restaurant. Fortunately, the to-go containers avoided the food being ruined. Aside from that, the old town where the restaurant is located is very cute. The large fries is enough for AT LEAST three people and the sloppy dog was tasty.
Overall, very good experience. The menu is solid and the Hot Dogs are delicious. My only issue with this place is there’s no one there to greet you when you arrive, you’re left wondering what to do. Take a seat? Wait to be seated? Ring the bell?. In fact one time we stood around so long, we just left. Again, once you are situated, the service is great and food is delicious. A dawgon good dog. I'm from out of town and got recommended to this place by a family member, and I couldn't be happier! I had a "Crabby Dog" with a pretzel bun, homemade crab dip, melted cheese, and a sprinkle of old bay on top. I only have a photo of it half dug into because GOOD LORD. Talk about surf and turf goodness. I'll be here for the week, and no doubt I'll be back in to have it one more time at least. Their fries are also stellar!!!
