The food was decent. I enjoyed them, but was the food really worth it from their super super slow service? No. We had to wait to be seated which is fine, but what wasn't fine was getting forever for the server to come to take our order. There were two out in the front. One seemed to be doing everything and another just clean and chat. When I asked if we could give our order now because we were ready- we were told to wait. They're going through in order we were seated. The service was just really sloooooowwwwwwwwwwww!!

Just good homemade meals. Always enjoy the breakfast. Can be a little slow when busy, but worth the wait.

I was looking for a job at this establishment. I was interested in management. She said no and then I had asked if there is any positions in the kitchen. She hung up the phone, did not even try to call back... very disappointed.

Walked in, got seated, and then sat there over five minutes and no one bothered. Bringing anything to the table. People who walked in afterwards got waited on. Won’t be back.

Thought it would be a great place to eat with my girlfriend, we waited standing up for 15 minutes with no one caring to serve us to a table. We also waited 40 minutes to get our food which was absolutely unpleasant. The omelette was undercooked, toast was burnt, my burrito was something I wouldn’t even feed my dog. The only thing that saved it was the Heinz on the table at least they have that going for them. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I asked to get my money back but she said it was too late because I ate some of the food.

From the time being ordered until we received our food was 40 minutes! Ordered a side salad with meal and did not get salad until the meal arrived! A large take out order took priority over people eating inside! Waitress never came back to see if we needed ANYTHING at all! Ordered fish and chips and was told no Tartar sauce after the dinner was placed in front of me! Hot roast turkey arrived with no gravy on the bread! Food was ok nothing special or bad! Customer service is lacking alot and management needs to wake up! Two people working in the kitchen need to work in unison! One could concentrate on take orders while the other concentrates on in house customers!

We were very pleased with this small restaurant in downtown Mount Airy. Our wait was only about 5 minutes on a Saturday around 11:30am. All of the staff were friendly and appeared to work well together to keep things flowing smoothly. My husband had an omelette and I had the handmade fried chicken steak with sausage gravy. We both enjoyed our meals. If the opportunity arises, we would go back to this great breakfast stop.

Dined here a couple times, and walked by many more times.I thought for awhile about how to review this place. On one hand, I like to support small business. On the other hand, this business really needs to make some changes. The food: nothing wrong here. Although my husband detests mayo and specifically asked for no mayo on his burger and they brought him a burger with lots of mayo on it. Besides that, no complaints. The food is not delicious or incredible, but it is totally fine. & The price is fair for what you get.Service: is mediocre, not good but not bad.Atmosphere: absolutely awful. Crowded and noisy unless you can get a seat in a corner. The worst: wait time. They need to allow reservations. There is nowhere to wait - the place is too small. People will be waiting on the sidewalk blocking flow of others walking. Once my husband and I were walking through town exploring and we saw people waiting outside in the rain to get in - it was like a school cafeteria inside, noisy and crowded. There was a group waiting for a table right inside the door and a second group on the sidewalk outside. When we were coming back from our walk, a half hour later, the exact same people were still in line. Who knows how long they waited for a table? The thing is, the food isn’t excellent, the prices aren’t incredible - just totally average. So it’s really not worth a wait like that. I’d wait 5 minutes tops to eat here. The restaurant needs to allow reservations or maybe on weekends require reservations, no walk-ins, to tackle this issue.

Long time waiting because the place is so popular. But it was worth it. My grandson and I were satisfied.
