MT. AIRY Rita's was different then the Rita's in Frederick. The manager offered to give me a free pup cup for my fur baby with no charge. It's also inside, air-conditioned, friendly, and cool. This location is opened year round and doesn't close in the winter.
Of course, Rita's CUSTARD is mouthwatering.
Mike, the owner of Mt Airy Rita’s has been an outstanding businessman man with exceptional personal integrity since I met him more than 10 years ago. I went to his store for my birthday reward and although it didn’t appear in my app as it should have from corporate, he trusted me, he found another way to find my reward, and he made me feel valued and appreciated. His employee, a sweet young g lady who I did not catch her name, my error, was just as kind. Anytime we want Rita’s, I will patronize his establishment because he knows how to treat his employees and customers. Bravo. 👏🏻
Fantastic staff, fantastic owner. Parking isn't the best, but worth the trouble.
Was driving thru coming home from a family visit in NJ... Will remember this stop for future travels
We go to Rita's all over the country and as usual we had a great experience. The restaurant was clean, the staff was welcoming and the blandinis were yummy.

It’s Rita’s, what’s not to like!
Love Rita's but I have not been to the Mount Airy location for at least a year. They seem to consistently have flavors that appeal only to kids - ex: cotton candy, skittles, blue raspberry. I have to go to the Frederick location to get something like chocolate, vanilla, banana, mocha, coffee, etc.
We moved away from the east coast in 2017. We miss Rita's
