The front end managers are lazy as hell. The bread guys park right at the cross walk and you can't see people walking out into the parking lot. I asked to talk to the manager and dude told me he was in charge. I asked him to say something to them and he basically said its not his job and I can do it. Buddy just wants to stand at the self checkout. They don't care about the safety of there customers

Safeway has everything anyone could want in a supermarket. The prices are a little higher than their competitors. However, you can save if you become a member and also use "Digital only Offers." Some stores offer Grocery Delivery! So, if you utilize all the gimmicks offered, you dont have to shop around.

I went in at about 9pm last night and the service was wonderful. There was barely anyone shopping, and the person working self checkout was very helpful when I could not find an item. Then when I was done the 2 young me were more than happy to help check me out. My only complaint is that I do not understand how to work the digital deals

I shop here all the time. For the last 3 weeks there have been NO hand baskets by the right side entrance. They are all being placed at the left entrance. This needs to be fixed, especially for your mobility impaired shoppers.
They did a wonderful job making my daughter’s birthday cake. (Note- Gold number candle and light pink roses were added by me.)

It's a grocery store. Generally I can find what I need. It's clean. The staff is nice. I prefer Safeway in Mount Airy over the other 2 grocery stores for sure.

DO NOT ONLINE ORDER FOR DELIVERY. Not only was my order never delivered, but I call the next morning to be told it was cancelled and was given no explanation except for “my screen says it was cancelled” worst customer service. Further, I was never contacted about the cancelled order, only informed through the app that my order was delayed. Completely unreliable service.
